An absolutely exceptional house — from the moment we arrived, it felt less like a rental and more like being invited into someone's home. The house itself is beautiful, and everything has clearly been thought through with care. Every detail is both lovely to look at and genuinely functional — you can tell the owner put real thought into how guests actually live in a space. It was spotlessly clean, to a standard well above anything we've experienced before. Honestly, we could happily live here forever. The host was extraordinarily helpful and gave us a whole range of local recommendations for hiking and cycling routes, which made our stay so much richer than it would have been otherwise. The location is wonderfully peaceful — tucked away and private, yet with walking and cycling trails right on the doorstep. It's the perfect balance. This is, without any exaggeration, the best house we have ever found on Booking. We recommend it wholeheartedly, whether you're looking for an active holiday or simply a quiet, restful escape.
