Sakura Ridge Farm & Lodge

This was our first time staying at Sakura Ridge. We enjoyed the cleanliness of the lodge and the courtesy extended to us during my family’s stay. We reserved 2 rooms as my daughter and her fiancee were getting married in Hood River. The breakfast prepared by Chef Brandon was savory and extraordinary. If your palette is up for a savory surprise, be sure to order the congee with pea shoots- - - it is unforgettable. After the wedding, my daughter and her husband had the opportunity to handpick blackberries from the garden within the orchard. This property is off the beaten path from the city of Hood River, so there is a trade off between a convenient location and totally getting away from city life to slow down and relax at the lodge and orchard. We enjoyed waking up to an amazing view of Mt. Hood every morning. If you’re in search of serenity and peacefulness this is where you’ll want to stay since this is an adults-only property.

The room we stayed in was very, very cold when we arrived however the general manager kindly surprised us by increasing the room temperature before we returned from the Rehearsal Dinner. Thank you…
