The Riad is a wonderful house in the middle of the medina, so everything is accessible on foot. The house itself has a beatiful structure in the traditional form of an original Riad, nicely decorated, very spacious with 3 bedrooms (each bedroom owns its own bathroom), while the terrace and the jacuzzi are the top highlights of the house. We enjoyed both a lot and since the weather in October is very convenient, the evenings on the terrace were absolutely relaxing after a full day in the medina or other excursions around Marrakech. The view from the terrace and the nice atmosphere are unique. The access to the Riad is easy (just 1-2 minutes walk from the main street, where the taxi will bring you). Avoid any offers to bring your luggages by wagons, there are always people waiting there and offering to carry your suitcases). We had a bad experience with it and honestly we could have skipped that part, as the Riad is very close and easily accesible. Now I come the nicest part of our stay in Riad Princesse Des Sables, Rashida and Mohamed. A lovely couple, who took care of us during the 4 days of our stay, prepared the breakfast for us and cleaned up the rooms. The breakfast was always very fresh and tasty with small variations each day, Mohamed has assisted with many hints and explanations and the cleanliness of the Riad was top. Thanks to both for this amazing hospitality! And now one hint for families with small children: The medina in the night might look unsafe and you could feel insecure ( at least we did upon our arrival and especially after this bad incident with the suitcases), but Marrakech is a very a safe and family friendly country. Don't hesistate to ask the local shop owners and they will help you in the best way.

We had to pay the biggest part of the amount for our stay in cash, while the advance payment had to be transferred via PayPal (with an extra fee) or transaction to a Moroccan bank account (which in most of the cases is hard). This is new to us on Booking.com and a little bit tricky, if you need to carry this amount on cash from Europe to Morocco.

Breakfast was very unique with personal service by staff attending each morning to serve freshly made food.

We loved the size and location of this Riad. It felt very safe and clean and was very large. Perfect for our group of 5 adults.
