We loved our stay here, made all the more special by the owner, Minh, who provided such wonderful hospitality. We stayed at the end of the season, so the island was quite quiet. Fortunately, Minh was there to ensure that we didn't starve. He is a trained chef and offers excellent and delicious meals at what we considered to be very reasonable prices. My wife can be a bit fussy about her food, especially fish but no problem for Minh, who happily provided delicious alternatives, whilst still accommodating my love of seafood. Breakfast was also delicious and is included in the price. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, with good air conditioning and the homestay/hotel, in general is lovely, located in a small village, a couple of minutes walk from a very nice, white sand beach. Minh's homestay is located three or four kilometres from the port. If you don't have your own transport, then an electric buggy costs 75,000 VND, per person, and can be arranged with Minh, in advance. Otherwise, they are there at the port, to meet incoming boats. The journey over from Ao Tien port is stunning. Minh can also arrange motorbike rental, which is worth doing, in order to see more of the island. He can also arrange boat trips to the other islands, as well as fishing trips. Minh speaks excellent English and is fantastic company, with a great sense of humour. He is well travelled, well read and we had some really interesting discussions. If you're interested in the real Vietnam, Minh is a great person to talk to and he doesn't hold back with his views on the country... Fascinating stuff. I highly recommend this homestay, particularly if you are interested in experiencing somewhere that is quite removed from the main tourist hot spots but above all for the very generous and delightful hospitality provided by its owner.

Everything, Minh made it too easy. All the details were managed simply with one message. Booked the transport to/from the pier. Rented us a motorbike. Cooked for us, and he's a great chef!!

De gastheer Minh is uitzonderlijk behulpzaam en een erg goede kok! De locatie ligt vlakbij het strand, de kamers zijn comfortabel, het eiland is makkelijk te verkennen met een brommer. Minh hielp ons ook met de verkenning van een ander nog minder toeristisch eiland.

De accommodatie is prima. Maar we schrokken van de vervuiling van de omgeving, er spoelt veel vuil aan op de stranden vanuit de zee. Minh probeert hier iets aan te doen, maar er is nog lange weg te gaan.
