The house was charming, loved that she had a pet crate set up to make our 4 legged friends feel welcome. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the dishes and cookware we needed. The lake was beautiful, I loved being able to use the kayaks to work off some pumpkin pie calories! The porch was nice, we didn't sit on it but it was warm during the day and cold at night so having some outside air come in during the day was wonderful. The neighbors were very nice and welcoming, the area was charming, the lake was beautiful, we were able to walk down to the lake a few times (again with the pie!) Will definitely book if we are in the area again. We enjoyed it so much we discussed making it an annual event!

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Firefly Cabin! The house was comfortable for everyone to have their own space to work remotely during the week and a great, open common area for cooking, eating and being together in the evenings. The screened-in porch was a lovely place for morning coffee. The neighbors across the street are wonderful! So fun to make new friends! We were excited to use the kayaks, but the weather did not cooperate and we never did. It rained 6/7 days we were there. The fire pit outside was perfect for the two evenings we were able to use it. Highly recommend for a beautiful getaway!

my stay was amazing! i loved the house and the stuff to see around it. we had a great time hiking just 30 min away. it was always quiet and peaceful in the neighborhood.

We were looking for a few days near the lake to take a break from school and have fun with our teenage son and a few of his friends. The house was just the right size. The location near the lake was super convenient. The fire pit was perfect with lots of chairs to use. The kayaks were an amazing bonus. We had a blast! This is a very clean house with a lots of supplies in the kitchen, and a great screened in porch. The neighbors across the road were super friendly and the road was great for walking. Katrina was super with communication. What a fun getaway!

Place was ok for less than $100 per night but the host made the experience unacceptable. No washer and dryer (missed that in the fine print), beds were not new and very uncomfortable (springs in the back from master bed upstairs), pillows should of been thrown away as they were extremely flat. Floors are uneven and were difficult to maneuver for my elderly mother. Would never stay here again or rent from this host. No compassion or patience at all. All she cared about was money. No cell phone service and flakey internet which was not reliable.

The house exceeded our needs and was very comfortable. The property was located down a sharp grade that was tricky to navigate after dark.

Cute country house. We had our dog and were able to walk to the lake. Would be an easy drive as well. Close enough to town that shopping and restaurants are easily accessible. Kitchen was fully stocked with a variety of cookware. I had no issues preparing Thanksgiving dinner with the pots, pans, etc. that were on site. There was also coffee and tea in the cupboard which was a great bonus since we couldn’t get to the store until the day after our arrival. Owner was very responsive and helpful when we had questions. I would stay here again if we return to area.
