I had a really great stay here! The atmosphere is amazing and the staff are extremely warm, friendly and welcoming.
Every evening, they have live guitar music with a relaxed reggae vibe, usually from around 6 PM until 8 or 9 PM at the latest. It creates a really nice atmosphere without going on too late.
The rooms are also very comfortable and I really enjoyed my stay there.
Another big plus is the swimming pool, located less than 50 meters from the hotel. It also belongs to the property and is a great place to relax, with good food and drinks available.
There were honestly very few negative points. The water pressure in the shower could be better, but this seems to be more of a general issue on Gili Trawangan rather than a problem with the hotel itself.
There is also a mosque around 200 meters away, so the first morning prayer can be heard quite loudly from the room. Of course, this is also not something the hotel can control.
Overall, these are only small points and they didn’t change the fact that I had a really great stay.

Our experience at Mango Tree House was absolutely wonderful.
We were immediately welcomed with incredible kindness by the guys. The room was perfect and always clean, and the breakfast was delicious. Everyone was incredibly kind, professional, warm and welcoming.
We fell in love with this amazing place, filled with beautiful energy, wonderful people, and such good vibes!!!
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We will miss you so much!! ❤️ I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

So the first impression when arriving is quite pleasant, the place is really charming. We had 6 roooms and when we entered them it had a cozy impression. The location is also good a few minutes away from the boulevard.
Their breakfast is SO GOOD! Pancakes are to die for.
This was only in my room;
The room STANK (ROOM7). The water in the shower did not drain so the whole drain and room smell like a wet cat.
We rented scooters and had a lot of issues with battery draining in minutes and had to push many of the scooters around the island.
Lastly, the water pressure is so so low it takes ages to shower but that is something you can for sure live with.
