Visited for a final weekend of spring skiing and it couldn't have been better! Super quick drive to Palisades and a one minute walk to the river with a nice grassy space to relax. The property managers were quick to respond when I had a question.

Perfect, cozy home base for four adults and two pups for a ski weekend. Great access to Palisades and Alpine Meadows. Also quite central to multiple cross country ski areas as well.

Great cabin, close to Palisades resort, good communication w rental company, all as advertised. We will be back!

This is the second time we have stayed here and again, really enjoyed our stay. The traffic noise can be a bit much at times, but sitting down by the river, is very peaceful and relaxing and we really had a wonderful time. The Living room furniture is getting a bit old and hard to get out of, but the place is just like it looks. I would definitely come back.

We loved the rustic setting of this small home, nestled in the trees of North Shore. A short walk to the river, a stone's throw to the bike path, and a short ride to Tahoe City. Excellent communication with the owners and super easy place to stay. Maybe the couch and chair in the living room could have been a little more comfortable...but not a deal breaker.

This was a perfect property to rent for our family of four plus our non-shedding golden doodle. The owners were responsive communicators. Check-in process was a breeze. Well stocked with everything you’d want for a vacation. Lots, pans, dishes. Toilet paper, soap, shampoo, salt, pepper, etc. And super clean! Great location for skiing at Squaw or Alpine Meadows. Highly recommend!

Cute and cozy cabin. Our dogs were greeted with a fluffy dog bed and water bowl. Wonderful ski location! Beat all the Tahoe city traffic! Quick access by car to Squaw Mountain (only 8 min drive up the hill) and quick access by car to Alpine mountain. There is a 7-11store located on the corner for any grocery needs. There is a beautiful walk/bike path along the river to walk the dogs right outside of the door. My husband and I stayed in the master Queen bedroom. Comfy bed, but bring your own pillows if you like fluffy ones (the pillows offered are a bit hard). Also, if you are planning on cooking, bring your own salt & pepper, as well as any basic spices and condiments. None are offered at the cabin. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, cooking pots/pans, so all was good there. We enjoyed the comfy couch and great location. Wi-Fi was spotty, so we will not be WFH in this cabin, but will definitely rent it again on a long weekend or vacation!

Short summary: it's a pretty ok house for a family with 2 kids, but it's not a good choice for 4 adults. Overall, I don't recommend this property.What was good: - House is pet friendly. - Check-in is well defined. - Living room and kithen with all necessary appliances (except dishwasher).What was bad: - Second bedroom is super small, there aren't any wardrobe/shelfs/nightstand, you can't store any clothes there; - The Internet speed is terrible (0.77 Mb/s) + there limit on connected devices (only 4 devices in total). - There are two parking spots, but you have to clean the second spot during winter time. I don't know why they clean only one spot, but be prepare to spend 20+ minutes on this when you arrive. - Location isn't so good. You spend only 5-8 minutes to ski resort, but you can easily spend 55 minutes returning back (you need to take a u-turn in 2 miles with havy traffic). - Cleanliness isn't a strong side of the house, all lamps were covered by spider's web, the soap dispenser contained a rust inside. All kithen stuff is quite dirty. - There are many wild dogs (or maybe neighbor's dogs) walking alone without leash.
