The place was immaculate and well kept. being on the water is a very special experience, and gives a serene start to the day. The location is a bit out of the way, but the free ferry from Amsterdam Centraal runs every few minutes, 24hrs a day.

The houseboat apartment is a perfect way to enjoy a visit to Amsterdam. The hosts were very friendly, welcoming and helpful and the location is a short walk to the free ferry to the heart of historic Amsterdam. We would love to stay here again!

Nice place but very small rooms. No where to put clothing away and one room has no window and the door doesn’t close. Best thing is the location.

Great stay. Awesome location conveniently located a free short ferry ride away from Amsterdam central station but from there you can go anywhere in the city via the metro and the center of Amsterdam.

We had everything we needed, close walk to all the local surrounding amenities, shops and Restaurant. A nice retreat after busy days in the city.

Edwin was very helpful with suggestions around town and responded quickly. The property was clean, a short ferry ride to Amsterdam Centraal, and comfortable. Staying here made our visit to Amsterdam really pleasant.

We really enjoyed our stay at Edwin’s place (4 adults). It’s a cozy space but had just about everything we needed. In a quiet area, it’s a short walk to the free pedestrian ferry and a bike rental company, and there are restaurants and services within a 10 minute walk. Edwin had some great advice on where to go and what to see. He was very responsive to any concerns we brought up, and brought over a microwave oven and a fan on our request. He provided two bikes for our sons to use and we rented two more for our 4-night stay, which turned out to be the best way to get around in the city. One minor inconvenience was the lack of laundry facilities which were mentioned in the listing. We ended up going to a laundromat 10 minutes away, but it would have been helpful to know that it wasn’t actually onsite. Coming off a week-long road trip in France, we had a lot of laundry to do! Overall a nice place to stay.

Quick walk to non-stop ferry access to Centraal Station, groceries, green spaces, and tourist attractions. Easy walk to downtown, canals, shops, and restaurants.

We were happy to spend four days in this lovely house-enough space for four adults. Downtown Amsterdam is just a few minutes away and you will find a supermarket and a bakery near by. Quiet and nice area! Amazing hosts-very friendly and helpful!

Great location. Easy walk to free ferry crossing to Amsterdam Central Train Station. Apartment opens to the morning sunrise over the canal it is on. Edwin, the owner, lives on site and is very helpful and friendly, with a great knowledge of Amsterdam and Holland. When I go back to Amsterdam I will rent this again.

I stayed in this place with a friend. The owners are super nice and live in a connected property, I asked them to turn up the heat one day and they were super accommodating. The owner offered up many great suggestions for sight seeing and things to do. Was super knowledgeable about the city. Would stay again.

Very first time in the Netherlands. The host is very knowledgeable about the history and architecture of Amsterdam. He is very passionate about teaching you about this city. If you have any questions about the city Edwin can answer it for you! The area is great and an easy walk to the ferry that takes you into the heart of the city about 15 mins to reach the main part from your stay. The home is super cozy as well.

Having never stayed in a houseboat, this was an experience we couldn't miss. The space was efficient and well equiped. It was a thrill to ride the ferry every day and the houseboat was only a short walk from the ferry stop. Highly recommend!
