The room was recently updated and was nice, but small.
While the room was cute enought and comfy, there was no hot water and the evening was quite chilly so we tried turning on the heater on the wall and there was a terrible burning smell coming from the unit. we immediately unplugged it from the wall and just got under the blankets. There was no real view, just a road outside the window as the river view was completely blocked by mature trees across the road. I would have been more comfortable paying $150/night rather that $240. Simply was not worth it.

nice place, great location
maybe 10 text messages and emails before and after are a little much?

The room decorations were cool and fun. The extra goodies were a treat. The room was extremely clean and well arranged.
The entrance to the property was a bit tricky with the traffic and the property sign wasn't marked well.

I loved the new decor. Beautifully decorated and very clean.
No extra towels without asking. Stayed two nights, did not have housekeeping automatically. Also, it's a motel at a hotel price. Yes, its remodeled on the inside but it's in the same parking lot as the food pantry and a bar.
