Our room was clean and the beds are reasonably comfortable. We could hear noise from the bathroom next door in the morning well enough for it to wake us. The view of the mountains from our room was beautiful

Was an amazing weekend away from home. Kindest owners! We needed a change in bedding due to a little ones accident and they were on it! We were warm and cozy for our weekend in the mountains! Even forgot our kiddos blankey and they found it for us! Very fun and comfortable weekend. Clean and cozy!

Nice quiet place. Messaged me and let me know heat was on, lights were on, and I could check in early if i wanted. The room was clean, comfortable and cozy.

Motel is a dump. Probably built in the 50’s and hasn’t been updated since then. Beautiful area especially in foliage! Choose carefully and look at reviews because the area is otherwise worn out.

Not happy with check in no one in office had to call using my english phone on arrival which cost a lot of money

Room was very quiet; easy to sleep
Room stayed warm most of the night and became uncomfortable.
The pipes in adjacent rooms make noise when people are showering. Somewhat annoying.

Was a cute little place, disappointed we couldn’t use the indoor hot tub as that’s one of the reasons for booking but other than that it was great

Stayed two nights. It was clean but “vintage” w mid century blue sink, toilet, and tub. The water for showering was only lukewarm. No hair dryer, no breakfast. Only real positive was close to Fraconia Notch SP and Polly’s Pancakes (a local treat).

Convenient location to Flume Gorge. However the room is not clean, bed sheets with stains. Not a pleasant experience.

I will definitely be back! The best part about the hotel is the ridiculously easy check in and checkout process! If you arrive after four and I leave the key in the room for you. And the next day you just leave the key in the room and leave. I wish every hotel had that same relaxed policy it was absolutely beautiful. Now if you’re extra fancy and don’t like your room to be dated and run down and then this isn’t the place for you. Definitely clean and comfortable but it needs a lot of updates .For example my toilet seat had rust on it. But if you’re flying solo or a couple or just staying for a couple days is 1000% worth it. And like I said I’ll definitely be returning !

The manager left a voice mail stating she was leaving my key inside the room and it would be unlocked with the lights on.
The whole drive was horrendous it was like driving on a buckboard. All uneven, we have a small car and lucky i did not brake anything under my car.
The shower has mold growing around the corking. We stayed there only six hours because of the the beds not being comfortable ect...

I just want to start off, saying that the owner of this motel is the sweetest person ever!! I also love the old school style of the bathrooms! I love the 70’s blue in the bathroom<3 this place was really clean. Even though the pool area was closed, I will say the pool was crystal clear and super clean. I will definitely be coming back here in the fall!!! This is a cute place to stay. If you’re looking for something simple and someplace quiet, I would recommend this place.

Basic motel but clean with all the standards you would expect including a pool and hot tub, and the surprise being a totally solar powered endeavor. Eco isn't just marketing!

The rooms are decent and somewhat charming; beds were comfortable. The property is nice, with great views. Nice location. However, both the pool and hot tub were closed--which was a real bummer for us, as we were traveling with children and that was a reason for booking this motel. I complained about it, and the manager at first made an excuse about the weather but ultimately conceded that the pool was closed because the heating element was broken. (Their Expedia entry says the pool is open until October, and so obviously the weather in August is not a valid excuse; its because their pool is broken.) Also, the "out of order" sign for the hot tub had a print date of Dec 2022. I requested a discount and the manager said that would "ask the owner" and I heard nothing since then. (It really should be standard practice for discounts to be given when major amenities are broken.) I read in another review that this place was once amazing but had new ownership in Oct 2022 and it has gone downhill from there. That is consistent with my experience. Given that their sign, website, and Expedia page boast a pool and hot tub, they seem to have no issue with having these be broken (even long term) without being clear about that or contacting travelers. Beware if you are looking for the pool or hot tub: they probably won't be working.

This was a simple motel in a small town. Exactly what we were expecting. It was clean.

There were lots of spiders, bugs, random strands of hair, no paper towels, and no hair dryers.

This is a small, locally-owned motel in the beautiful White Mountains area of NH. We were excited about the local ownership and focus on sustainability as part of their business model. Overall, the room was small but generally clean. The pool was large and our children enjoyed it. However, there were several things about our stay that were disappointing. First, the room was extremely outdated and run-down, and to say it was bare bones would be an understatement. What was most disappointing, however, was that we never were able to interact face to face with anyone from the property --- although we arrived at 7:30 PM that night we were texted earlier in the day saying that our room would be unlocked and ready for us. That evening and the next morning we had some questions about the local area that we were hoping to get some feedback on and there was no one from the motel available for even a small question. This is despite the fact that the information book in our room said the front desk was open and staffed until 10 PM each night.

We had a great time at this motel! We were greeted upon arrival and check in was super fast. My girls loved the clean refreshing pool after hiking some trails searching for waterfalls. Close proximity to many attractions and restaurants but not too close.

Simple quiet place with nice Mountain View. Hot tub out of service. Room is ok a bit dated but there is an AC, beds a bit feels like you sink into it. Small fridge and microwave. In room coffeeMaker. No hairdryer. Whole place is taken care of by one very sweet woman no main office area but a number to call if you need anything. Franconia is a cute town. Not a lot of food options but there is a supermarket and one restaurant in the town. Adirondack chairs outside are nice. Picnic tables outside to sit on. Didn’t use the pool.

A throw back gem to a time when an overnight stay was easy and peaceful. Go, stay, breathe, relax. And your car is 10 feet away everytime.
