Gorgeous location with beautiful views of the lake and sunsets.

The location of the home is amazing! The view out the west-facing windows was spectacular. The whole home was designed to enjoy the views over the harbor and Green Bay itself. The home is conveniently located and close to necessary businesses and restaurants. It had plenty of space for our family, by having bedrooms on separate floors made it seem very private, yet homey. Kitchen was properly furnished with all the necessities. The rooms were very clean and had plenty of towels for all the bathrooms.

Be warned, this is not a child or elderly friendly home. There is a sunken living area with at least a 6” drop. Because the tile above and below matched, it was hard to see and easy to trip on. The upper bathroom also had a step right at the doorway, dangerous in the middle of the night in an unfamiliar setting. There were limited or no handrails on stair going up or down. The window coverings were clearly very old and most didn’t work properly. In the upstairs bathroom the blinds surrounding the hot tub had to be manually closed (and then the window was only about 70% covered). Not much privacy as the home to the north is very close. In the upper bedroom there was only a sheer curtain on the east window, letting in the sunrise. The curtain rod in the basement bedroom fell off the wall when it was closed for the first time (had to opened and closed very carefully after that). In the main dining area the blinds would only partially open, obscuring about two-thirds of window/door area. There were multiple lights that didn’t work, we found spare bulbs in the closet, however most of the burned out ones needed specialized bulbs that weren’t available. The pool table and poker table were mostly dark. First floor bedroom fan had a missing light, just exposed wiring. Most of the sliding doors were very difficult to open and close (two were slightly open when we arrived). The garage door opener worked intermittently, we ended up parking outside just to be safe. The listing said there was room for 2 cars in the garage, but during the winter they fill half of it with the outdoor furniture. Every shower head was plugged up with mineral buildup and didn’t spray very well. Again, this is just an age issue as they appear to be original to the home. The heating vents in the basement sounded like a very loud fans/blowers and made sleeping difficult when the heat was on.
