Sehr hilfsbereite und freundliche Familie. Lay ist überaus zuvorkommend den Gästen gegenüber. Die Unterkunft bietet kein Frühstück an, aber es gab am Abreisetag trotzdem einen kleinen Snack in der Früh. Auch sonst wurden wir immer mit kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten überrascht. Der Luftbefeuchter im Zimmer ist eine gute Idee!

Die sehr vielen Treppen und leider kein Cleaning-Up im Zimmer. Wir mussten am Abend das Kaffeegeschirr von in der Früh selber in die Küche bringen und tauschen. Eine kleine Ablagemöglichkeit im Bad wäre prima.

Todo, es el mejor hotel con diferencia que nos hemos hospedado en Camboya, pero lo mejor sin duda es Lay y su familia, no hay palabras para explicar lo bien que nos trataron, increíble.

Lovely stay - the owner and his family are really friendly and helpful. As others have said, they often greet you with tea and snacks. They also have recommendations for local restaurants and sights. The room is huge and very comfortable. The location is a little out of the centre but a very easy walk or grab ride to everything you want to see. It’s quiet and calm when you’re inside.

Very small thing - the bathroom is a wet room and most of the floor gets wet, which isn’t to everyone’s tastes. But overall I would definitely recommend.

Non vi aspettate una struttura di lusso ma è un’ottima soluzione per chi è di passaggio a Battambang. Camere spaziose, pulite, dotate di a/c. Personale molto gentile, il proprietario farà di tutto per venire incontro alle vostre esigenze e aiutarvi qualora ne aveste bisogno. Abbiamo noleggiato presso la struttura anche uno scooter, scelta migliore per godere delle bellezze della natura circostante.

Staff are amazing, we were given many delicious treats and they went above and beyond to help us organise trips, pickup, drop off, etc. The room was very clean and spacious. The beds were super comfortable and we slept very well. Very quiet hotel and surroundings - there’s only 3 guest rooms so no need to worry about noise.

We had the top floor room which slightly suffered from a lack of water pressure which made showering difficult. However, staff were very helpful in trying to get this sorted! The top floor room also gets quite warm and both the AC on full and the fan are required to keep it at a pleasant temperature. Completely fine for most people but if you’re heat sensitive then it could pose an issue.

The property was very clean . The staff were all so nice . They offered lift in and out of the town . The owner dropped us some treats made by his lovely wife . It was a great experience.

The steps were a little be challenging as we were staying at the top of the building - don’t let that turn you off .

We had a wonderful few days staying at Muni Residences with Liy and his family. The room we had was really spacious, clean and tidy with the most comfiest beds!! Upon check in we had some snacks and treats for the boys which was a lovely touch. Liy is so accommodating and during our stay he brought us homemade desserts which were tasty and even offered to take us into the town centre a few times. Thank you so much Liy and I highly recommend booking Muni Residences. We had three children and really felt welcome here! 🧡

Everything was so good! The hotel doesn’t have a pool but that isn’t the fault of the owners.

Cleanliness, the owner was very nice and friendly, the location, the room amenities were abundant, the welcome drink and snack were impressive.

-I was put to the room on the top with no stairs which was pretty tiring (I would have been more prone to the condition if I had been informed despite the fact I requested for a quiet room). However, this may have been due to room selection functions from booking.com, not the owner's fault. -While the owner was very nice about it, and he asked for the time I was going to return to the hotel at night, I felt I had to rush back to the hotel knowing that he was waiting for me to close the hotel. Even though he literally said it was okay to just ring to the bell, but I felt reluctant to stay out late knowing I would have to wake up him (because there is no stand-by staff at night). This affected my stay quite a bit as when you're on vacation, you want to be a spontaneous. If there is a system to improve this, or if the owner would tell the guest beforehand, it would be okay I think.

Muni’s Residence is a very good choice for a few nights in Battambang. The location and some of the facilities in the room are maybe not perfect, but this is more than compensated by a very friendly, truly exceptional staff service! We were picked up from the bus station and the whole family did everything to make us feel comfortable and at home. From sharing recommendations, to renting a motorbike for a good price, offering self-made snacks and breakfast, and just being genuinely nice and welcoming. It is also a very good price-value. I highly recommend this place!

Staying at Muni was excellent from start to finish. We were picked up from the bus station on time, and were greeted so warmly by the owners. They cooked us fresh sticky rice desserts on arrival which were absolutely delicious! Beds were the most comfortable we have had during our travels, and room was very spacious equipped with all the facilities you need. In the evening we were delivered another delicious dessert to our room, which we also really enjoyed! We had an early bus in the morning back to Siem Reap, and again a tuktuk was organised for us to go to the bus station. We really enjoyed our stay at Muni and the wonderful hospitality we experienced. Super kind family and very humble. True representation of Cambodian hospitality, 10/10. We would love to visit again :)

the family were great, they could not do more for you. they drove us to collect our scooter & to the bus stop! they even provided homemade desserts everyday, above and beyond!

The property is located centrally in Battambang, on a peaceful and quiet street. The host Lay is absolutely amazing, and will treat you like family. He can help you with anything you need, such as tours, motorbike rentals, transfers etc. We experienced an amazing level of hospitality here that we’ve never seen before. Snacks, homemade desserts, welcome gift were graciously provided. Bicycles offered to us free of charge. Beds were super comfortable, literally the best beds we’ve ever had at any hotel.

Muni hotel is simply perfect. Everything, from the very beginning and the way Lay (the owner) is welcoming you, to the very end of your stay, is absolutely top notch. First quality furniture and equipments, and, not to forget, lots of services available (Netflix, transfers, ...). Let me mention also Soon, the driver who was suggested and booked for us by Lay to drive us around Battambang... He is just Amazing, speaks perfect english and is super knowledgeable about the city and the surroundings. So, long story short: BOOK HERE!

My room was lovely; well appointed with a comfortable bed. I spontaneously decided to have a massage, and it was very nice, at a very reasonable price.

super friendly and helpful owner mr lei really made our stay delightful. the room itself was wonderful, large beautifully clean with nice touches such as an incense burner. tv with Netflix was a bonus. would definitely recommend.

One of the best stays in our life, especially when you compare how much you pay and what you get for it. Room is absolutely perfect, clean, cozy, spacious, Netflix on Tv, hot shower, good air conditioning, everything is brand new. Hospitality of our host went absolutely beyond expectation. The most friendly and helpful people, we can’t say thank you enough for everything they did for us. If we could rate higher we would.

The hotel is newly opened, so there are not many reviews yet, but all of them are absolutely true. The price-performance ratio is excellent, the rooms are spacious, extremely clean and technically state-of-the-art. The bed alone is a sensation! On top of that, there is even Netflix. The location is central and yet quiet, so ideal. The atmosphere and the warmth of the host family, who welcome you as if you were a part of them, deserve a special mention. We have been traveling for months and have had an exceptionally warm welcome here. A big thank you at this point! There are even bicycles and very good and experienced tours from here, which give a nice insight into the culture of the region. In short: 10 out of 10 and absolutely recommendable!

We stayed for one night at Muni Residence & Spa, it was the best experience we had so far on our holiday. We had a very warm welcome from the owner (Lai) who speaks English very well and surprised us with a few local snacks from his family farm. The place is very clean and modern. There are not many reviews yet because it is basicly brand new. Everything was tought off.. the room was very well equipped.. a fridge.. a tv with netflix.. toothbrushes.. even an humidifier. Oh, and there was a QR code on the room key so we could always text the staff who were available to help us with any kinds of requests. So clever! The bed was super nice too. We highly recommend staying here. I'm sure you won't regret booking this place. Lai and his family will make you feel very welcome. It felt like a 5* hotel with the warmth of a guest house. Our only regret was that we only stayed 1 night.

Muni Residence & Spa was a surprise, even after reading the great reviews, here's why; starting with the bed, it was better than any bed I've slept in, even hotels three times the price. The sheets are lovely cotton and a soft light doona that wasn't heavy or hot. You can choose pillows to suit your preference. There's nothing I value more than a great night's sleep. The room has all the features you want for a comfortable stay. A long table to eat at, or use your computer for work. Bedside reading lights, bright overhead lights and soft dimmer lamps. A comfortable reading chair, fan, and aircon that doesn't blow directly on you. Two large water bottles filled as you need and extra goodies in your room were a thoughtful touch—a TV with Netflix and excellent free wifi. The finish on the new build is of a high standard, and the bathroom was sparkling clean. I was able to have my washing done on-site too. I was ready for a rest after three months of travelling Asia, so sleeping well was greatly appreciated, and I took advantage of the excellent on-site massage three times in five days. It's a family-owned business; they all go beyond expectation, and nothing is too much trouble. They have considered all the things large and small to make staying comfortable and enjoyable. I couldn't have asked for more to have such a fabulous experience. The hotel's located just out of the noisy district, and everything I needed was a 5 to 15-minute walk. Here's where I ate; The Green Mango Restaurant [around the corner] makes excellent healthy food; Pizza de Claudio is a little authentic Italian cafe, and make sure you go to Miss Wongs for breakfast, coffee or a drink at night; it's super cool. Drop into the Human Gallery across the road from Miss Wong is worth a visit. If you're lucky enough to get a booking at Muni Residence, it won't disappoint. I look forward to returning soon.

We were pick up from the bus station which is very convenient, we were greeted by the lovely staff and given a welcome scaft and refreshing tea, inside the room is great thoughful design, beautiful comfy bed, I'm looking forward to coming back to Muni Residence & Spa.

It is really beautiful hotel, especially the service, room with super comfortable mattresses, we were greeted by the welcome tea and fresh fruit from their own farm, after visit the countryside with a nice Tuk tuk driver from the hotel, we were treated to a lovely massage. Lai and his family went over and above to make my stay a very comfortable one. An added bonus was the comfort of the bed. Having travelled for the last three months the bed was so comfortable I slept soundly every night. I was recommended eating places and tours which were both value for money and good quality. I highly recommend.

The Hotel and his owner were amazing! We stayed for two days and immediatley felt like home. The owner, Lay, even helped us to organize a SIM card (drove us to the store, translated for us and helped to install the SIM card). The hotel is an absolute treasure and definitely worth a trip. We would recommend it to anyone! For us, it was the best hotel we have ever stayed in and we would always come back. After two nights we were very sad to leave and say goodbye to Lay and his family. And it's true: The bed are as comfortable as they look in the pictures :)
