Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Maison De La Mer is a spacious, beautifully designed home in a great location. The home was very clean, comfortable and well maintained. We especially loved the master bedroom and en suite, luxurious, spa like master bath, the outer dining area and saltwater pool in the enclosed back yard. We did have some trouble getting WiFi, which had limited range and bandwidth in the home and was only working intermittently and only on the second and third floors of the home. However, the property management team was very responsive and quick to help remedy the situation by bringing us a hot box and getting it serviced. We were very pleased overall with their attention and performance. This is a great vacation home and we enjoyed our stay there very much.

This house is incredible and they really thought of everything. We had some issues with the internet but they sent someone out promptly to address it. The location and proximity to the beach is perfect. We did rent a golf cart as my mother in law has bad knees but we otherwise could have easily walked or biked (on the bikes provided) to the stores, restaurants, etc.beach access is just at the end of the road. This house is not only gorgeous and tranquil but well worth it. My only criticism would be the internet and cell service which is out of their control given the area. I had planned to do some work during our down time and was unable to due to the instability of the signal. However, nothing was critical for me to do so it was a minor inconvenience that ended up forcing me to relax during my vacation rather than work. If internet is a requirement I would be a little leery of this entire area. We will definitely be back to stay here!

The house and location was amazing! House is beautiful. Does need additional extenders for the wifi as the house is too big for just the router.

We had a nice family trip overall and the home is spacious with plenty of areas to gather, which worked well for our group of 8. However, for the price point and being marketed as a “luxury” property, there were several issues that significantly impacted our stay.The most concerning was a bike pedal breaking just feet from the house, causing a fall and a large bruise — a clear safety issue.We also experienced multiple appliance failures:The dryer did not work on day one, was temporarily repaired, then broke again later, leaving us unable to wash towels and traveling home with wet items.The oven stopped working for two days, including during a planned birthday dinner. We knew it was likely a circuit breaker issue (we have the same oven), but after-hours support would not assist or connect us with anyone. We had to scramble for dinner for 8 with no reservation, resulting in a long wait and an expensive, unplanned meal. The kitchen power issue also impacted the coffee bar and breakfast plans the next morning.Additional concerns:Non-working ceiling fans on the front balconySewage odor on the lower level after rain-forcing 2 people to sleep with othersRaised paver by the pool that caused injuriesInconsistent communication, including delayed manager follow-upWhile the home itself is attractive and well-sized, the number of maintenance issues and lack of timely support did not meet expectations for a luxury rental.
