Everything was great

​We had a fantastic stay at the Laurieston Inn. A special mention must go to Thomas, who was exceptionally helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate an earlier check-in for us. ​We stayed in Room 5, which was beautifully sized, spotless, and very comfortable. the bed was exceptionally comfy! The shared kitchen was pristine and fully equipped, and having laundry facilities available on-site was a great bonus. It’s a wonderful property and ideally situated close to all the amenities we needed. ​My son was in Room 4, which was a smaller space that suited his needs perfectly. He was woken up and kept awake by guests above him making noise, though we fully recognise this is down to fellow travellers and no fault of the proprietor.

We have just one gentle suggestion to make the stay even better, offered with complete respect. The room (5) features a wonderfully large shower, but my disabled husband found it a bit tricky to navigate safely. Adding an anti-slip mat inside the shower, providing a bath mat to step onto, and installing a grab rail would make a world of difference for guests with mobility needs to prevent falls. ​Overall, a lovely place to stay- we would gladly return and highly recommend it!

Clean and neat. When I asked for a hairdryer, one was brought to room within the hour.

On v busy main road, so quite noisy outside. Odd shelf above bed (weird location for it) which freaked me out a bit - I slept with my pillow at other end of bed as nervous about it coming down on my head! The only other thing is that tea and coffee making facilities would be really handy given the limited options to get anything like this in Laurieston.

the bathroom is nice

all the stairs 1 same entrance for all guests and for private exec roomnsuite i pay it was dissapointing the bed uncomfy the water jug with water was warm and had cork over it no tea coffee kettle or anything in the room at all no cutlery, is more hostel style i didnt sleep and left very early due to noise above and next door
