The property was excellent - perfect for our family (there were only two adults and one toddler so far too much room for us but that was no bother!). We did bring our own cot for the toddler but Pascale also provided us with the option of a cot, plus a number of other baby things which was great and helpful! One thing to note - the property doesn’t have a bath which can be tricky for a shower averse toddler, but there was a small ‘baby’ bathtub provided which was more than adequate for our two year old to sit in! The property and grounds were well maintained, with a lovely pool we used a couple of times when the weather cheered up a bit! There are friendly horses on the grounds of the property which was a highlight for my toddler who loved going to say hello to them! The hosts were absolutely wonderful - Pascale was so welcoming and took the time to explain how everything worked (although apologies, we still don’t understand the very comprehensive French recycling system which puts English recycling to shame!). The pool and house were all explained, and Pascale was a WhatsApp message away when we needed, being very communicative for example when there was a brief power cut at the property. Communciations prior to our stay were also very comprehensive and friendly. Pascale also very kindly booked me onto a local riding lesson which was wonderful and so kind! The beds at the property were super comfortable and the rooms spacious and well furnished. The kitchen was wonderfully kitted out with everything we needed utensils wise, and a very helpful washer and dryer which is always great when travelling with children. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the property to anyone visiting this part of Normandy!

The only thing for us was the location - this is obviously no fault of the property itself! It was just a bit too ‘rural’ in the end for us and we drove around a lot - however, if the weather had been warmer (always a gamble for northern France in September) we could have spent more time relaxing by the pool which was our original plan!
