The interior of the property is fine but could do with a few things like having a dining table. The property is closer to the beach.

The exterior of the building could do with renovation. The facility can do with braai facilities, and pool loungers (chairs). The gas braai burner has issues, we struggled to operate it even with the help of the caretakers. There were no cleaning detergents and not enough toilet papers. The rooms are only cleaned when checking out, otherwise you have to buy a few items such as handy andy, sunlight liquid, and domestos which you’ll need for the duration of your stay.

Facilities and Amenities: The advertised facilities and amenities did not meet the standard I expected or rather what was advertised. I have never experienced such check in process in my whole entire of liasing booking.com. A very unique accomodation with policies that they dont even adhere to. You arrive at the premises and treated as if you have not paid for your stay. Staff knew nothing about us on arrival, shocking! Not this lady telling me to feel free to cancel if it does not meet my requirements after paying everything which she knew i was not going to get my money after cancellation(Jenny) There were communication breakdowns that added to the overall frustration. Despite these challenges, I believe that constructive feedback can lead to improvements. I hope the management at Ocean view villas takes note of these concerns and works towards enhancing the overall guest experience. unfortunately, my experience has left me incredibly dissatisfied. Not only did the service fall below expectations, but there is also an ongoing issue with the return of the breakage fee deposit, as outlined in their policy. According to their policy, a breakage fee deposit was collected during my stay. However, despite adhering to the terms and conditions, I have yet to receive the refund. This is not only disappointing but also goes against the established agreement. I am left feeling frustrated and undervalued as a guest. I urge the management to address this issue promptly and adhere to their own policies. The lack of resolution to this matter significantly tarnishes my overall perception of Ocean view villas. It is 9 days after checkout and still awaiting my money that they were supposed to have sent five days after. Worse they even failed to provide me with a proof of payment as they claim they have processed i should check with my bank. Hilarious right? I hope this feedback is taken seriously, and I expect a prompt resolution to the breakage fee deposit issue

The ladies at the Backpackers were so friendly and even let us leave our bags there while we had lunch. We were helped as soon as we got to Ocean Villas and just loved our room!

All in all, a wonderful trip. A few loud ladies in the swimming pool on Saturday afternoon but nothing serious.

Quiet, nice view and location was great. Will definitely book here again. Had all the necessary anemities. Neat, tidy and comfortable Flatlet. Very clean.

Kids beds were abit uncomforyaable bc they are hard to sleep on

Quiet area, close to the ⛱️ beach. Suitable size Flatlet with a nice view, table & large umbrella outside and a sizeable pool.

Kids beds were Abita uncomfortable and hard but everything else makes up for the lovely setup.

The room was clean, bedding perfect, look much better than the photos that are on booking.com, nice place to relax. Happy was welcoming always available when we need him.

The colour of the plate in room room 11 it will be better if you put white. please consider to put showers door in room 11.

Overall the room was pleasant enough - comfy bed/kettle/microwave/fridge. The lady who let me in also let me out at 4am in the morning as I had a far way to travel so I really appreciated that.

Room overlooked main road and had a restaurant opposite which was noisy. Windows did not close properly. Showerdoor was missing a panel so did not close all the way. Tiles could also be cleaner. The backpackers where I collected my keys looked cleaner.

The room was standard, neat and clean. The location was quiet.

The administration is DODGY. So Disappointing. So many hidden clauses that are sent to you AFTER you press BOOK NOW (pay on arrival). If you're booking less than 2 weeks before your arrival date, you will pay the full amount of your stay within 24hours of your booking, and they'll take that money from your account without notice. There's also a compulsory damage -something deposit of R500 you pay on arrival at the reception (only made aware of AFTER YOU BOOK). That money is supposedly returned to your account 5 working days after you checkout. It's been 9 days, no money returned, the receptionist I keep calling doesn't know anything. Oh and they tell you that you have to pick up your keys from an office building 10 minutes (drive) away from the property but in truth you only go there to pay that R500 damage -something deposit and sign a ridiculous contract, if you can't pay that additional R500, you can't stay at the property even though you've paid for your stay. THE KEYS ARE AT THE PROPERTY. If you don't have a car, have plenty of money to Uber and arrive as early as you can or you'll be stranded. You're also required to clean up the room before you leave, make the bed, leave the dishes clean, take out the trash or you'll be charged for cleaning services.

The staff at the actual unit were wonderfully friendly and helpful. Mercy was exceptional, thank you.

* The extractor fan in the bathroom did not work. This was not great as there is no window in the bathroom and it did smell. The bathroom leads right off the kitchen and sitting area, so this is problematic! * The toilet roll holder was broken * The wifi was turned off first thing in the morning before we had even left at 10am. So there was no wifi on the last day of our stay * The pipes for the water of the upstairs unit run through the living area of this unit so it is very noisy with plumbing sounds and running water * There is a bed or a washing machine (in an attempt to be polite) or something, directly above the bedroom of the unit we were in, which squeaked rythmically the ENTIRE second night! It was very off putting having this sound going on, on and off the whole night and morning above us, it was loud and very obtrusive!! * We requested, from management, to leave half an hour later in the morning, at 10:30. We assured them there would be no dishes and we would leave the apartment very tidy, we were told in no uncertain terms that this was not possible and if we were to do that we would have money deducted from our deposit. We felt this request was handled very poorly and was completely unreasonable, especially considering we were extremely accommodating with the few things that were wrong with the unit.

Cups and glasses were not cleaned properly, shower head did not work properly and windows were not cleaned. Felt as if objects were deliberately loosened or misplaced to be able to claim back from breakage fee. Breakage fee was not discussed PRIOR to booking.

Parking space is very small. The surface to entrance is uneven and i damaged my car and there was no one to provide assistance. I had difficult when checking out as there was no one to hand over keys too. I was stuck for more than 15 minutes looking for someone to leave keys with taking into account that I cannot anyhow as there is a damage deposit paid upfront.

When checking in, have to go to another place to pick up the key. But that's not a problem as we can sight seeing through town also. The place is very safe. A parking inside the gate. Ocean view from the room. Very close to the beach. All the facility you need even for a little kitchen. Very nice place to stay.
