We have stayed here previously and thought the location was good. Provided you have a car. Nice quiet street.

As I said previously we have stayed here before, three years ago. Our memories from that time were that the property was more inviting in the sense that there were treats, bowls and toys laid out for our dog (we didn’t have our dog with us this time) along with some provisions for us. The property itself is looking tired in areas for example needing a coat of paint. The front entry had a weird doorbell/camera set up but the biggest concern for us unfortunately were some issues with the cleanliness. An example was the clump of hair left in the shower recess, unclean wine glasses and a greasy and oily cooktop, a dog bowl out the back that had dried up and off dog food in it, and garbage bins down the side of the house that didn’t look like they’ve been emptied from the last few tenants. The utensils drawers look like a bomb had gone off in them, clearly you don’t need three or four of the same item. Although it can be helpful for some people I don’t think it’s a particularly good look in the pantry when there are half used packets of food from previous guests aside from perhaps some oil, salt and pepper. We contacted the owners with attached photos and received an apology but no more, and we weren’t seeking compensation or any kind of recourse. The owners pride themselves on offering a high standard and I believe they try to, but it’s difficult managing a property from afar when they’re relying on cleaners that don’t show attention to detail that most people notice.
