An incredibly gorgeous hotel—food for the eyes. The rooms were very comfortable—mine had a balcony and the bed was very comfortable. The concierge Victor was so helpful in booking restaurants in advance and organizing everything. The maid service was excellent. WiFi was strong enough for Zooms. Room quiet.

The restaurant was horrible. Every morning at breakfast I wanted to gouge out my eyes—the servers were slow and confused and completely uninterested in the guests comfort or experience. One server raised his voice at a guest and repeatedly told him, as if he were a child that he couldn’t have both a side of bacon and a side of sausage! It was a misunderstanding clearly, but so inappropriate. The couple he spoke to were Black and it felt like there was a racial undertone to the audacity of his condescension. The first day the restaurant was out of croissants—c’mon. Also, the food, once it arrives, is terrible. The eggs COLD every time. Food bad for room service too. Nighttime concierge needs better restaurants recommendations —they sent us to a tourist trap that looked like the set of moulin rouge and the food was bad. The light switches and switches in general were hard to see which is the only design flaw.
