The apartment is very cozy and spacious. The neighbourhood is safe and quiet.
The soundproof is average.

Beautiful condo. with incredible pools, extremely clean and comfy, excellent location, short walk to the Marina, restaurants and many stores within walking distance. Plenty of towels, even sofa bed was comfy! Wonderful balcony! Great air conditioning!
Plenty of plates, cups, glasses, wine glasses and utensils. Could use another frying pan, colander and dish towel.

With a late evening arrival into LAX, this apartment was only about a 15 minute drive away so we were able to get settled and get to bed. The apartment is the 6th floor of an apartment building that is surrounded by high-rises. It is very residential but still quiet, safe and clean. There is under-building parking which was perfect after fighting for tourist parking downtown during the day. The Ralph's grocery store across the street has everything you need if you want to cook in the apartment and a Starbucks, if you just want to pick up your morning coffee.
We were three adults and because the second bed is the living room futon, it really isn't big enough for two people. I think 3 is really the maximum. The apartment is as appears in the photos. There is a pool and hot tub for the complex. The laundry in the apartment was convenient for a quick, small load of clothes.
It was about a 45 minute drive to tourist sites in downtown LA - which has as much to do with traffic as location.
I recommend this apartment and would stay here again. You will likely not meet the landlord so you do need to be a bit of an independent traveler. The owner will email/text you once you pay and closer to your check-in date. If you follow the directions sent by the owner you should be able to use the code to get into the building and then into the apartment. You'll need to get up into the apartment to get the key fob that allows you into the parking garage. Just plan for it and you'll have no issues.
Adding a curtain in the bedroom, instead of just window blinds, would probably cut down on the light for those that need it a bit darker.
Is there recycling in the complex? It wasn't clear; a recycling bin would be helpful.
I'd recommend leaving a duvet cover for the living room futon bed.

the fact we had to hide from the leasing office because obviously he’s not allowed to rent it out. Having to maneuver into the apartment to get the remote control for garage all lies this place

The property is spacious and well maintained, the car park easily accessible and great value, the communication with the host was outstanding with great instructions and the ability to self-check-in, the location was also fantastic when prioritising proximity to Santa Monica and LAX airport.
The neighbourhood didn’t feel the safest at night by foot, I strongly recommend the use of a car at night. Note, this is relative other areas in LA are much less safe and this remains one of the safest areas in the city.
