Very clean and well kept. Plenty of amenities to enjoy our stay.

The location was a bit remote, but if you like that, it is great. We were visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia which was a bit of distance, approx 45-1 hour with traffic.

The house has its retro charm. We watched some movies on VHS and played board games at nights.

The WiFi would be nice to have, especially when service there is not great.

Very nice house in the woods with a spacious, open kitchen/dining/ living room, two bathrooms, and three bedrooms. The beds were very comfortable, and the owners supplied a wide range of conveniences (kitchen supplies, cleaning and laundry supplies, blankets, etc). Unfortunately, we failed to realize that the house is about 10 miles beyond Ellsworth ME, which makes it about 45 min drive from Bar Harbor/Acadia…farther out than we intended. We just did not pay attention to how far it was.

There were lots of video movies to watch, but no way to watch tv shows or news, and we were not able to get internet. There were many good games provided ( as many as 25 ), so it provided lots of fun for friends or family.
