We had a family group including grandparents, children and grandchildren and a couple of pups. The house exceeded our expectations. There was plenty of space to spread out and it was very clean and nicely appointed. The property was private and would be absolutely gorgeous in any season. We would all love to stay again!

We stayed at Lester River Pines for our annual family Christmas gathering. This home was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our family. It was decorated for Christmas, and party hats were left out for our birthday celebration as well. Every bedroom was gorgeous, and the beds were very comfortable. We had plenty of room for all of us to spread out, yet be together. There were family games to play, and of course, the pool table got a workout from the older kids.
The grounds were lovely, and we took several walks through the surrounding woods. The kitchen was filled with all the pots, pans, plates, and utensils you could use. We had plenty of room to eat in the dining room and the huge kitchen island. We had a fire going in the fireplace almost the entire time, and the whole family could sit on the very comfortable couch!
All in all, we just had a great time, and Lester River Pines made it all possible.

We stayed at Lester River Pines over the holidays. What a beautiful home and a beautiful location! Great house for a family gathering, comfortable and well-appointed bedrooms and bathrooms, a spacious kitchen, and comfortable living room for gathering to watch a movie or play a game. Communication from start to finish was helpful, timely and clear. We would definitely stay here again!

It was a wonderful location! It was a woodland winter wonderland buried in the woods. We had a large group for 4 days and it was perfect! Close to town and grocery store. The amenities we excellent and bedrooms were all comfortable! Wood burning fireplace was the best and decorated for the holidays. Can’t wait to go back!

The disappointment was something fierce when I rented this place 6 months ago SPECIFICALLY because it had a hot tub and I review the listing the week before we stayed to see that this amenity had vanished. We spent way more money on this house for that reason and it was quite dissatisfying to find out not by a message from the owner but by reviewing the property listing myself. I feel that is a poor business practice to not notify of the change nor try to alleviate the unexpected change in any way. The house was nice otherwise, hard to appreciate it when I was so bummed though.

We had a really nice girls weekend staying at Lester Pines. The kitchen was a perfect size for our group (9) and the bedrooms accommodated our group comfortably. The twin beds in the basement felt less hospitable than the rest of the house, but worked fine for one of our friends who stayed down there. The hot tub was out of order, which would have been nice to know prior to arrival. Additionally, we didn't receive arrival information until on the property and needed to contact the property manager to get access. But the property manager was very responsive and helpful when we had questions. We would stay again!

This property was nearly perfect. The house was really lovely, cozy, clean and very inviting with many amenities. Our biggest concern is the online listing information. It does not comfortably sleep 12. It comfortably sleeps only 10 in queen size beds in five bedrooms. The other two women on our retreat slept in a lower level room and it was very cold and had no bathroom access at that level. Without a bathroom on that level I cannot reserve it again, and I really would like to. The property manager was fabulous! She promptly responded to every one of our needs, but obviously could not build a bathroom! I highly recommend it if you do not need to sleep 12 comfortably.

Our family stayed at this property as a birthday party celebration which included White Water Rafting in Carlton, MN.
We were so impressed with all the amenities in/with the house. The accommodations were perfect for every personality that we had along with us. Every detail was thought out including the owner leaving some birthday favors knowing we were celebrating a couple birthdays.
The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well appointed and the outdoor furniture and fire pit was wonderful for spending quality time together. I sent many communications with the owner/manager and they were so fantastic at responding right away.
We were so impressed and would love to make this an annual outing!

This house is absolutely Beautiful. The property managers were very kind and accomidating. Very cool nature surrounding. Located in the most amazing spot. River otters in the backyard that you could watch. So amazing. We will be returning. There was so much space to enjoy everything.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin. The property is beautiful and secluded. The wrap around deck was fantastic and it was great to be so close to Lester Park as well as only 15 minutes to Canal Park! Highly recommend for a weekend get away with family or friends!
