Appartamento nuovo, ristrutturato con grande attenzione al dettaglio, ed arredato con gusto. Pulizia impeccabile, vista e panorama dal balcone di casa senza eguali. La signora che si occupa giornalmente delle pulizie è inoltre una persona davvero squisita e disponibile, così come tutto lo staff dell'agenzia Maridea, che si è dimostrato attento ad ogni nostra problematica ed esigenza.

Impianto idraulico da rivedere, siamo rimasti sotto la doccia all'improvviso senza acqua calda. Il problema è stato segnalato all'agenzia che, dal canto suo, è intervenuta tempestivamente, sebbene la problematica, molto migliorata dopo l'intervento, non è stata del tutto risolta. Il bellissimo balcone non è attrezzato in caso di pioggia (manca una tettoia), rendendolo di fatto inagibile in caso di maltempo. Questo è un problema, dal momento nell'appartamento manca un vero e proprio tavolo con sedie per mangiare all'interno. C'è solo la scrivania con una sedia, ma se si viaggia in coppia è una soluzione inapplicabile. Parimenti si sente la mancanza, sempre sul balcone, di una tenda parasole, nelle ore centrali della giornata il caldo è insopportabile, ed il sole batte molto forte in testa e sul viso se ci si siede al tavolino. Per raggiungere l'appartamento c'è da fare parecchia strada a piedi, e diverse rampe di scale. L'agenzia non prevede un servizio di facchinaggio, pertanto se avete parecchi bagagli, e soprattutto se non siete particolarmente atletici e performanti, potrebbe risultare un problema.

Le Alcove sul Mare Suites are perfectly located in the heart of Le Forna on the western side of this beautiful island with a stunning view of Palmarola at any time of the day from the comfortable furnished balcony.

It is the perfect place. The view is spectacular. But it's clean. It offers the comfort, Cleanliness, and security of a hotel, but with the little kitchen, the freedom of an airbnb which are normally not that clean and filled with Ikea crap. We were very happy with our stay.

There is literally nothing to complain about.

Location, location, location. Views, easy access to beach, navetta into port, wonderful terrazza, spacious studio, comfy beds, great shower and AC!

Because the location of the studios is up 4-5 flights of steep stairs, Maridea should provide help transporting luggage to the rooms. The driver who took us to the property declined to do so and 3 seniors were left on their own to hoist bags up the stairs.

Breathtaking view from the balcony!!! Location is very convenient, short walk to the bus stop, to the beach, to the restaurants and to the grocery stores. Neighborhood is pleasant and quiet. It was very nice that they drove us to the apartment and helped with the luggage. Kitchen was well equipped, but you had to clean it yourself before leaving.

Payment only in cash. A lot of mosquitoes, a mosquito net would be useful. Wi-Fi stopped working in the middle of our stay. And there was no hot water on the last day.

Views from our terrace were amazing. Santa the attendant was very charming and friendly.

We stayed at the apartment for 2 nights in September and had a wonderful stay. The apartment is very clean, modern and very comfortable. The location is easily reached by bus from the port or by taxi and we enjoyed a lovely dinner in a restaurant within 5 mins walk. Although there is a few stairs to climb to reach the apartment, the views of the bay and sea are truly magical and very much worth the climb. Enjoying breakfast and sunset on the balcony was wonderful and a real benefit of staying outside of the busy port area. We highly recommend the apartments and we hope to stay again soon!
