We liked the location and view from the property and that it was easy to walk into Coniston (and to the Ship Inn) - it is a bit of a climb walking back. The cottage is very handy for walking in the area. The cottage itself was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay,
The description for the property could be even more clear about the challenge of driving up to the cottage and then parking (if other cars are already parked). We did find the drive up and down stressful. I think it would be helpful if Coppermines cottages offered the possibility of parking in the Bluebird car park (which they own) for people who would rather walk than drive.

Really comfortable living area. Well equipped. Beautiful views.
The big hill to climb on the way back from the village! Driving was really difficult up to the cottage and thankfully we left the car in the bluebird car park on our last night as they had closed the road and were digging it up when we left.

Lovely cosy cottage, well equipped. Great view of Coniston. Plenty places to eat in village, walking distance.
Guidance provided on how to get to cottage was very good, the road is narrow but accessible to the cottage and has parking.

The view was amazing and the property was lovely, it was perfect for walking with a path behind the house.
The road up was really narrow and steep with hairpin bends, not for the faint hearted or cars with rubbish handbrakes!
