The week prior, I found out that I was unable to make this work trip, and immediately communicated to the property owner on February 25th to ensure the name on the reservation could be updated to another colleague that was traveling with me. It was confirmed on February 27th that the reservation had been updated, however, when my colleague attempted to check in at the property on February 28th, her name was not listed as primary on the reservation. We contacted the phone number listed on the VRBO listing and spent over 2 hours hours back-and-forth attempting to update the reservation, which was finally confirmed by the property manager. However, my colleague was again unable to check-in so I had to provide verbal confirmation and send identification to the hotel for them to bypass the requirement for the name on the reservation to match the person checking in. As someone who utilizes VRBO numerous times per year for business and personal travel, this was one of the worst experiences I've had -- very poor communication, deceptive assurance that the issue had been resolved, and a less-than-optimal experience overall. The property was beautiful in a fantastic location, so it's disappointing that the property management was lacking for a very basic reservation change that could have been easily resolved.

Excellent stay, wonderful views of the beach, easy walking distance to beautiful Gulf beaches, the Pier and lots of great restaurants.

You could not ask for a better location. Room was incredibly spacious and comfortable. It rained for 2 full days during our visit so very thankful for the comforting hotel room.

Great location in walking distance to beach and many restaurants and shops. Much cheaper to book their vrbo than direct with marriott

The room nice. We enjoyed the roof top bar. The location is great with lots of place to eat and drink within a block or two. The beach is two blocks from the hotel. We had a great time.
