Great space, close to the old town, easily accessible from the train station and very clean and very peaceful. It is a big space for 2 people. Although it is largely one open plan room the areas are nicely defined, dining room, kitchen, lounge and bedroom. There is plenty of equipment to make self catering easy. The bed is really comfortable and we slept very well. A most relaxing place. In the town, everything is walkable from the apartment. Colmar is delightful.

Nothing to dislike really. Others have mentioned the stairs, but we came here from a stay in Paris, on the 6th floor with no lift. This was a breeze.

Spacious loft for our family of 3. 3 flights of stairs to the loft. The final stairs is narrow. We didn’t have a problem as we had backpacks and a small carry on. Large suitcases may be tricky. 15 min pleasant walk from train station if you have light luggage. Right in the middle of old town. Very clean apartment and bathroom Has a washing machine Kitchen was user friendly with lots of appliances There’s also a small supply of condiments if you plan to cook. Great communication with hosts pre and during our stay.

Location was superb!! Easy check in and an 11am check out was nice. The apartment had everything you could need to make it a home from home, even small touches like laundry detergent were appreciated. The bottle of wine left for our arrival was beautiful too!

I am short (5ft 3) and could not reach the top lock of the apartment door. Luckily my friend is taller, however if she hadn't been there I wouldn't have been able to get in. Perhaps leave a foot stool or small step in porch area would be my advice. The water pressure on the shower wasn't great, however it is an old building and apartment is in the attic so not a complaint just a warning for others.

Great location near the historical center of Colmar.

I was told by the host that the apartment is on the 2nd floor (ground + 2 floors). Actually it was on the 3rd floor while the stairs from the 2nd to the 3rd were steep and narrow. From the 2nd to the 3rd even more steep and narrower, dangerous for kids and difficult to get in / out for elder people (I was traveling with my daughter and mother aged 73). We paid for 3 adults but beds were prepared for 2 only. There was no coat rack neither cabinet with hangers where to hang our coats and clothes. Half of a big cabinet serves to hide the boiler, half has only few shelves full of pillow and other staff. Obviously, one clothes valet near the bed can’t serve 3 people. There was a washing machine but no iron to iron our clothes. Except the mirror above the bathroom sink, there was no other, bigger. Despite there was a coffee machine, we couldn’t find any coffee cups. Actually, the apartment itself was not bad, but I’m disappointed because the answer I got from the host was not honest. As well, the apartment was rated 9.2, which - in my opinion and experience with other apartments’ ratings - is far from the reality. Knowing all details, especially how narrow and steep are the stairs, I’d not choose it for our stay.
