everything, good, quiet, clean and cozy rooms, super welcoming and friendly staff, our bicycles could have parked in the hotel garage
we don’t have a dog yet but it was very nice to see dogs are welcome therein
not really anything to mention

The breakfast was good, a little bit of everything. Car parking is in front of the entrance and also behind the hotel.
The beds are small.
You can hear everything in the room at night: the water from the shower in the next room, the work at the kitchen, other guests on the floor.

Quiet. Excellent breakfast but no toaster. Helpful pleasant staff
Drapes are translucent and therefore morning light comes through. No toaster at breakfast
No feminine plastic bags in room and tissue box almost
empty. No stand for luggage but an extra chair was
brought and sufficed

The breakfast was delicious, is not included in the price though and is 15€ per person.
The architecture of the building and the internal design are nice. It feels cosy.
It is very quiet, but Worpswede in general is super quiet place.
We had a bed with two separate mattresses and both of them were super old, I have never before had a mattress in such a condition in any of the hotels/motels etc… And I travel a lot.
So we didn’t sleep well at all.
Another problem was a wi fi - it was supposed that in every room there is some paper with the information of the username and a password, which we didn’t have. We didn’t notice it until late evening. The reception is supposed to be opened until 23:00, as it says in the information prospect. At 22:45 i was downstairs to ask about access data for the wi fi, I rang the bell, but no one was there.
So we had to call by phone, that we found in the email from booking.com. The woman by phone was sounding very unhappy being disturb at this time, she was insisting, that we have a paper, sticking to the phone, with all the necessary information.
There is no problem, that we didn’t have it, anyone can make a mistake and forget something. What was not nice, is the attitude of the woman on phone, and that the reception was not opened at the time, when it was supposed to work.
I am not sure, I would return here, unless they will change the mattresses. The good rest is what we need in the hotels.

breakfast was extra (15€) -. not included in room rate - you could get, all you need, many articles on request only...
We had one double room with two separate beds (as requested), but these beds were super narrow - I guess 70cm??!
Rooms are small, but ok

Nice location. Lots of eating options nearby. Clean. Staff were very friendly. Room was clean (though basic).
Breakfast cost €13 extra per person which was very expensive for very basic fare.
Slow intermittent internet connection and our phones had little or no signal when at the hotel. Full bars away from it. Can understand a break from tech but so much depends on it when you really need it. Little chance to be reached in emergencies. Had to leave to handle any personal affairs and use apps for banking, etc. using phone data.
Since we live in Germany, and Maskenpflicht at a business is the law here, staying at a hotel increases a risk of exposure to Covid-19. The hotel itself took hygiene seriously in its facilities but some guests didn’t bother with masks or distancing when walking around the public areas and no one said anything to them. This isn’t just bad. This is a breach of the law.
8.3
Good location to fascinating buildings in the area.
.No information about the area either in the room or reception.
