The location was great. The host was well prepared and send us all the information needed to get there and to check-in. The check-in and the check-out was easy, done via a tablet at the lobby. There is a folder with translation and how to use the appliances.

Would have been great to have a table to sit on but the apartment is small so I understand.

I really appreciated that this lodging had every amenity you could need - fully stocked with kitchenware, cleaning supplies, washing machine and laundry supplies, and even ironing board, vacuum, and mop. It was nicely decorated, looked clean, and felt comfortable to stay. I somehow thought this location was close to Shinjuku station, but it was not. However, is was a short walk to the Yotsua-Sanchome station which is a couple stops from Shinjuku. Convenient access to transport to get anywhere in Tokyo. I was traveling solo and the location felt safe - not so crowded with people that it was overwhelming, and not so deserted that it felt unsafe.

The way the apartments are designed, sound comes through quite easy. Anytime somebody goes up and down the stairs it reverberates through the rooms. Whoever was on the floor above me would come in late and make a lot of racket, waking me from sleep (even with ear plugs). That was difficult as this happened almost every night. Also, because the room was full of amenities, there was no space to put personal things like suitcase, clothes, food. I had to stack things up and keep move things to make room, even to cook or wash dishes. I know square footage is a hard thing to come by in Japan, but the space given could be re-designed for better functionality.

Clean and cozy place, great for a short stay. Self-check in was very fast and hassle-free.

Pillows were a little uncomfortable.

While check in when we need to punch our names the keypad only shows Japanese so there was a little panic that time as we were not able to check in. So we punched some random keys as our name and address. Also we were given room in basement whose entrance has lots of smelling bags lying over there.

Clean, great water pressure, newer facility. kitchenette is well appointed.

Bed was squeaky, and not very comfortable.
