Room was extremely clean. Staff were very helpful. This is a great place to stay if you are coming by train. Shuttle service to the depot/ Denali Park are very timely. Lot of restaurants within walking distance.. They allowed me to leave by bag with them early in the morning and they even checked in my bag on the train the day I had to check out so I could spend all the time i had in the park.

It was okay. We were initially placed in the wrong room; which was also not clean.

Stayed 2 nights on our way to Anchorage. Beautiful Lodge

Key card would work once then have to be rescanned. Then staff would ask did you put it next to your phone and I would tell them no,again. Extremely slow Wi-Fi.

Rooms are in separate buildings, so you have to walk to the room with NO protection against the weather - and nobody helped with luggage. We were on second floor and there was no elevator - had to carry luggage and walk up stairs. Couldn’t park our car close to the room! Part of the decor trim in the room was broken

The property was decent but the service was poor. Staff there was not interested in helping clients have a great time. So hopefully nothing goes wrong otherwise you are on your own.

Will stay here again if I come to Denali.

Such great customer care-- a rarity nowadays! Highly recommended stay. We had other couples telling us they envied our accommodations compared to their own hotels in the area. We would love to return here!

All the restaurant choices were good, and convenient being right on the property, a cute village with some shops, lots of flowers and four good restaurants

Beds on the floor, extremely squeaky, had to walk 1/4+ mile with bags and elderly parents. No an option to even drop bags close to rooms

Great location, clear and comfortable.

Great stay. Clean, spacious. Free shuttles between hotel and park visitor center were well run. Hotel owned restaurants reasonably priced for location ($19 for burger a frizes). Would have loved to have had a microwave somewhere on premises to at least pop some popcorn but understand likely by design.

The hotel itself is quite nice, both the facility and the location. I rate it as 2 stars is mainly because the front desk lady who answered my phones when my apple map wasn't able to direct me to the hotel is very rude and racism. She is a young white women, didn't help at all and treated foreigners in a very bad manner. All other staffs I met are quite helpful.

Beautiful setting, scenery; staff very helpful; organized and efficient.

The hotel met our needs as independent travelers but is clearly intended for group travel.

I’ve $500 for a double queen room that has barely enough room for a suitcase to stand up in and it’s still in the way. What a rip off. The rooms are incredibly small, the buildings are spread out from check in quite a bit. My room was on the second floor which made stroller travel almost impossible. No first floor rooms available. After I got there my keys didn’t work and they had to print me new ones- fortunately they drove the new keys to me. They rarely answer the phones up front and their text system is slower than waiting for a message back from your grandma on her flip phone contraption. All in all, I’ll never stay there again.

Beautiful property and clean- but my husband is newly blind and has health issues. I asked for a handicap room. When I reserved the room and the desk. Unfortunately the room I was given was 2nd floor. Also I think we may have been where staff stay or over flow. Our area look much less cared for for. Peeling paint and steps in disrepair. R210. Not what I expected for what I paid. My hubby barely made it to his room.

85⁰ in my room. I opted to check out instead of stay another night, but instead of offering to move me rooms (they weren't at capacity), or offer any solution to the problem, staff was rude about it. GM of this place called me back when i left a message for him, but he was generally unhelpful and offered no solutions, other than insisting thar i pay for the room because I checked out after 11 (it was 3pm).
Mike's direct line is 907-683-8401, if you have questions about whether or not the princess has improved their HVAC systems, or have done anything to improved the stay for their customers.
Either way, there are 3 other resorts that i can think of off the top of my head that are in the immediate area. All 3 of them are nicer AND better priced than the princess. Ill never stay there again.

Parking was a little dicey due to a low number of spots available and getting our belongings from the car to our room was difficult. There weren’t carts available and there was no elevator in our building. However, The staff were lovely everywhere we went on the property and we had a great time while there. No shortage of things to do!

This is a very beautiful property in Denali, absouletly enjoyed it, the rooms are big and the beds are very cozy .. would stay there again for a longer period .. not very good internet and has limited food options nearby

Overall a lovely and beautiful resort in the Denali mountain range. However, we missed having free nature programs and hikes like the ones offered at McKinley Princess lodge. We also missed not having any restaurants serving hot breakfasts. Next time we come we will ask for a room away from the busy highway as it was noisy making it difficult to sleep.

Everything was so convenient and centrally located. Nice shops and great transportation options for getting around. Quaint eating and places to get a drink and relax.

Perfect location! Wished they had a jacuzzi. The road noise is loud if you are on the road side of A building.

Nice location, but rooms are small, no microwave or fridge in room. Main lodge building staff not courteous enough to know or give suggestions about much of anything except their adventure tours etc. I would recommend other place, this is over hyped..

You should really inform guests that it'll take up to 4 hours to get their suitcases after getting off the railroad. this was NEVER communicated before we reached the lodge and would certainly have packed our carry ons differently had we known. Staff then only provided vague answers as to when we could expect luggage.

Generally, a great place to stay in the Denali area. Great bus system between the lodge and park. One problem, on the day we checked out, water was shut off at 8 AM, causing us to crowd showers earlier. Some water testing was done. Should have waited until 10 AM.
