The location is great for a city trip to Athens and if you‘d like to explore the historic sights by walking. The apartment is very comfortable and spacious and feels very safe. The parking lot is in a guarded street (due to a synagogue across the street from the apartment).

While the area (Plaka) has lots of cafes, bars, and restaurants, it feels very touristy and crowded.

Lovely penthouse apartment close to the Monastiraki area. Easy to walk into central Athens and views across to the Acropolis from the terrace.

Fine for a family sharing, sofa bed was in the kitchen area.

The penthouse suite was gorgeous, clean and spacious.

This was out of the property’s control however the area was quite noisy at night. It was difficult to get some sleep. The parking is free but the owner indicated that we need to send passport info, type of vehicle and license plates one hour prior. I did this the day before and received confirmation of receipt. The gate did not open automatically as said, we had to provide our passport information again to the police officer that is stationed at the parking gate. Considering passports are confidential and sensitive information I would have preferred not sending them by email and showing them upon arrival.

Close to Acropolis
