Rowan Cottage - Beautiful Country Cottage Sitting at the Foot of The Ochil Hills
Ein familienfreundliches Ferienhaus für einen entspannten und ruhigen Urlaub. Das Rowan Cottage verfügt über einen offenen Wohnbereich, in dem Küche, Esszimmer und Wohnzimmer nahtlos ineinander übergehen. Der Wohnbereich hat zwei große Fenster mit Blick auf die Felder, auf denen unsere Highland-Rinder und Schafe weiden. Das Hauptschlafzimmer mit eigenem Duschbad befindet sich im Erdgeschoss und bietet einen Blick auf die Ochil Hills. Im Obergeschoss befinden sich ein Hauptbadezimmer mit Badewanne und ein Schlafzimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten. Außerdem gibt es oben an der Treppe eine hübsche kleine Ecke, in der du dich hinsetzen und ein Buch lesen oder einfach nur den Blick auf die Hügel dahinter genießen kannst. Vielleicht siehst du sogar ein Reh.

My wife and I had a great two week stay at Rowan Cottage. It is very peaceful and relaxing. Everything was very clean. It was a very nice “home away from home” I would highly recommend this place to anyone needing a self catering place to stay. Thank you Laura for the lovely accommodations.

Laura was a great hostess and the cottage in a lovely, peaceful rural setting. It was well equipped and very comfortable.Great for local history including The Wallace Monument and Stirling Castle.Don’t miss climbing in the hills near the waterfall behind the cottage!

Rowan cottage is an absolute treasure! The property is immaculately clean and welcoming. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils and needs to make a family meal. The picnic table in front of the property was used many times when the sun came out on a beautiful day. We very much enjoyed seeing the “coos” close up and watching the sheep being rounded up and moved to another pasture by the working dog. The property is close to everything in Stirling and the surrounding areas. I would highly recommend Rowan cottage to anyone traveling to the Stirling area. It is affordable and an absolute gem for a weary traveler to find a little piece of heaven in Scotland.

Laura was so nice and the place was immaculate. Kitchen had the perfect amount of cooking items. Having the walking path right there was a nice touch to our evenings.
