The staff were very kind to me and I really appreciate this as I am autistic and sometimes have a bit of a wobble - but they were extremely accommodating and I will definitely be staying there again. The room is lovely and spacious too with an excellent wet room and a very comfortable bed :)

Dirty unclean room, broken shower with no cold water so was getting burnt by hot water, stinky toilets, noisy street, woken up by a man singing every morning. Unclean bedlinen, Room was not hoovered. No kettle got one after we asked, no tolietries or slippers provided. Host does not inspect rooms by the look of it. The worst place I have stayed in my entire life.

No contact check in. Room was nice, clean. Ensuite bathroom,, fridge and tv in the room. Come and go as you please. Free wifi. Close to a train station, easy to get a bus to wherever you want to go. Restaurants and shops less than a 5 minute walk away.

The door can be locked from the inside, preventing anyone from getting in even with a key. 2 out of the 3 nights I stayed there someone had locked the front door and people were stuck outside. The first time someone got locked out I thought the door was broken. I attempted to call a number that was labeled Manager Out-Of-Hours but the fella who answered had no idea what place I was talking about, so I just let the people stuck outside climb in through the window to go to their rooms. Its a possibility that you may get to the inn but youre locked out. Hopefully someone unlocks the door or lets you hop in through the window. :D

The room was super dirty. Dirt in the sheets, a bunch of garbage in our drawer, and both of the bathrooms were incredibly dirty as well. When we arrived, we were unable to get in and after finally being able to reach the host, they suggested that we bang on another guest's window so that they could let us in. Thank god that they woke up - it was past midnight. The exact same thing happened the next night to a new guest and the host messaged me at 1am asking if I could open the door. One of the hosts also walked in on my partner and I at one point and said that he had no record that we were staying in the room. I was half naked, and he did not close the door until I forcibly asked him to. Would not recommend booking this place - I suggest paying a bit more and getting better accommodation.

Comfortable bed

In general the facilities were fairly clean, quite close to city centre.

There is no way of knowing where the place is as it is not marked by any sign, nor is the full address given at any point of the booking. After an entire day discovering London we went back to check in late after 9pm as agreed with the owner as he advised it wouldn't not be a problem. We went to the address that we could see marked on the map on the website which is no. 12, only to find we are disturbing a lovely lady who has nothing to do with this enterprise. May I add that our phones were dead after a whole day on road. Only because the lady had let us charge few percent of the battery we managed to call the property owner/manager, otherwise we'd be sleeping on a bench! We called the owner to find the address which was number 4 (still after carefully assessing nothing to mention valentines inn) instead you will see some old print out on a sheet of paper referring to the place as a care home. We got to the room only to find some items remaining after the previous visitors (I assume) a what looked like a freshly changed bed and few other basic things such as a bedside table, wardrobe, chest of drawers, a TV, kettle, a lamp, little bit of sugar in a small tupeware container and few tea bags in another. The biggest downside was walking into a single towel on the bed which was damp. We have tried to contact the owner with no answer after our initial call. Ended up texting him and in the 4 days of our stay we had to manage with 1 dirty towel. There was no toiletries, no disposable flip-flops or anything else which is listed as part of the ad. The bathroom was also a shared facility which there is no mention of in the listing. The bed has seen it's better days a long time ago, making squeeking noises with the slightest of moves, the mattress was very uncomfortable, we both have been waking up with aching backs every morning. Kitchen facilities are very sparse, you will not find a tin opener or a corkscrew in the kitchen or any other every day essentials.

The room was a good size and access to a bathroom next door. The free parking was a selling point

The experience was not great, the fire detector was hanging off the ceiling, sky window with no blind so the room was very light and one evening we couldn’t get into the building and had to knock on another persons window so we could get in. We raised this with the provider who agreed a partial refund then refused and offered a discount on our next stay… no trips to London planned and would not stay with them. They should have honoured the refund as agreed.
