NOT FOR YOU! "No party & Many rules" Hostel N1 - Rigid Rules

The location is perfect, but what truly makes this hostel special is Nina at the reception. ❤️ She speaks with the help of a translator, but that never stops her from connecting with people. She is so full of life, kindness, and warmth, and goes out of her way to make everyone feel at home. Her generosity and genuine care make you feel welcome and safe. I stayed here for 3 nights, met some really lovely people, and then left my luggage here while travelling light to North Macedonia for 3 days. When I returned to Sofia for a couple of nights before my flight, I chose the same hostel again. The luggage storage was convenient, but the trust and the people were what made me come back.

Location, price, staff, room and bed. Rules actually make it more comfortable.

They accept only cash. I think they should also accept cards at this point. The place could be maintained a little better (but for the price nothing too bad).

Quiet environment, clean bathroom, curtains on the bed which contribute a lot for privacy and comfort, good location

The location is just perfect. Close to all main attractions

1) There was a receptionist who didn’t speak English at all and unfortunately I needed his assistance. All I could get from his mouth was ‘ I don’t know’. It was so frustrating. 2) The ladies shower close to the window doesn’t have hot water at all! Use the one close to the door! 3) The owner although being a nice person ( she provided me an electrical blanket 🙏) , she doesn’t take feedback positively, she gets offended. Instead of taking my feedback positively she wanted to give my money back and wanted me leave! This is unexceptionable! 4) In the hospitality industry everyone should speak at least little bit of English including the owners! Having the money to open a hotel/ hostel should not be enough!
