incredibly tranquil -fantastic staff and the spa is amazing

The staff are amazing, the gardens beautiful and the food is excellent. The spa was also fantastic. If you are looking for tranquility and an authentic Moroccon Riad, Al Mendili is perfect. We ended up being the only guests for half our stay but we felt so comfortable even still and the solo dining experience was excellent. We used two of their drivers and they were also really lovely.

The resort is a bit further away than google map says (because some of those roads are really not driveable) so be prepared to have a long journey into the city centre.

The smile on the staff’s faces from minute one. The room was super clean and temperature was all set for our summer stay. We missed the breakfast deadline but still got an amazing private mini terrace late munch. I’m definitely going back and taking the riders this time.

The breakfast was all made fresh in the kitchen . Fab bread, pancakes with home made jams and honey. The eggs served are from the hens roaming free around the Riad. Freshly squeezed orange juice and local mint tea finished it off beautifully. Catherine and Alain are wonderfully attentive but not intrusive. Both them and the staff just want to make your stay special and they certainly deliver.

Not wanting to share this little gem with anyone but somewhere that you cannot stop talking about. There is absolutely nothing that needs changing. Previous reviews on this subject say. “ having to leave” and I’m with them on that. Cannot wait to return.
