room was wide enough

Located on the Istiklal street, very accessible to the transport and tourist attractions. The room is big, the balcony was a very good bonus to spend the evening. The bathroom is clean and has all necessary things.

Be ready for the noise as this is the main touristic street and clubs are open till morning, then the works start outside. The bed linen should be changed as it has holes from cigarettes even the rooms are non smoking.

We had a really nice stay here. The location is very convenient, and our room was spacious and comfortable. There was a bit of noise from outside, but honestly, my mom and I didn’t mind it at all. We actually prefer a little bit of outside noise rather than complete silence. It was a great stay and definitely good value for money. We will definitely come back!

Location is good, in a passage just of Istiklal street, its near the main bus routes and one of the vintage tram stops, easy to walk to Taksim square (12 minutes) and the gallata tower etc. There is a small cafe just infront of the passage to get to it you can get a simple breakfast from and pleanty of decent places to eat if you venture just off the main Istiklal street (I'd recomend you do as thats where the best places are found, down the little side streets). The room was a good size and clean, all the facilities were pretty much as shown in the photos and descriptions, nice to have a small fridge as well. For the price it was very good and check in / access was easy once we worked it out as we arrived late and were tired. The outer door is code locked and the rooms have a key.

The bed was not comfortable, one side was ok but the other was very hard. Bathroom was OK but in need to some repair /TLC. The shower leaked half the water out before it got to the rain head and was missing the wand. It DID work-but felt a bit ramshackle and was on the tight side. The biggest problem is the noise around the hotel :( the bar in the courtyard plays loud music until around midnight (our room had windows into the courtyard), and the area has places which do the same, one night there was loud music thumping until 4am (I think from a party somewhere nearby) so it was VERY hard to sleep even with earplugs. The doors are also thin so you can hear everything in the corridor/stairs. Ironically it was noisier during the 'quiet time' then during the normal day.
