Przestronny dom, wspaniale wyposażony (szczególnie kuchnia), duży taras z widokiem na ocean, sąsiedztwo restauracji, palarni kawy i sklepu, świetny kontakt z gospodarzem.

The location of the property is far from the urban centres of the island, in a quiet town on the west part, near many of the nature interest points and with good restaurants, coffee shops and mini market right in front of the house or at 4 to 5 min walking distance max. This means that you’re in for a tranquil stay at a quick drive from many attractions in the area, but don’t expect to have the beach or other activities (whale watching, kayak, tours, etc.) at walking distance as you’d have at a beachfront hotel in the south to south east side. We used the balcony table every day to have take away dinners that we picked up from the restaurants across the street. It provides a very nice view of the sunset and has a little annex with everything to make a nice barbecue if we’d like. Everything was very clean, lots of fresh towels and tastefully decorated. The management even left us a couple of local treats gifts. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped with everything needed. It was also very nice to have a private parking space as the street in front can get full of the restaurants customer’s vehicles.

We could tell that the house is mostly managed remotely. It was not a big deal as the host is very responsive and yet not intrusive. Nevertheless the house had the distinct odour of not being ventilated often, nothing that a quick opening of the windows didn’t solve. The beds were the only issue we had as although they have 2 rooms with a couple bed, they are rather small, what we’d call nowadays a 1 & 1/2 body size. In one of the rooms the mattress was also a bit worn out already and it sagged quite significantly in the middle. If you really need to use the double beds for 2 people keep this in mind. The Ponta do Pargo town also has a church nearby that sounds a quick ring of the bell every 15min and a longer one every hour and for the Sunday Mass call. For no one else this was an issue during our stay, so for most people might be the same, but if you’re particularly sensitive like me the bell starts from 6 am.

O tamanho da casa era ótimo, espaçosa, a localização com vista maravilhosa e com restaurantes muito bons e próximos indicados por Garry. Casa muito bem equipada com utensílios e eletrodomésticos

A água quente acabava quando tomávamos banhos seguidos, pois estávamos em 6 pessoas e tivemos que espaçar os banhos. Mas demos um jeito e não atrapalhou em nada a nossa viagem, todo o restante recompensava.
