The staff was awesome

We had a very pleasant and friendly experience the entire stay. Will be back next time were in Sumter

You get a decent rate but the rooms are a little scary. You can hear your neighbor and the foul odors are very strong

Doors had been kicked in and “fixed”. Second locks didn’t work. Pushed chairs in front of the door at night to feel safe.

Being remodeled everything broken, lots of smoking

The window was falling out of the frame they put tape on it to hold it in the wind keep blowing it open . The toilet seat was broke and dangerous to sit on , the toilet ran water all nite long The building was nice if it had proper management to keep it clean and a maintenance man to fix the problems

Kids ran up and down the hallway until around 2 am. Playing on the elevator also. Tub spicket leaked really bad. Tub was black all around the drain. Room 211. Place just needs to be updated.

The STAFF at this facility was wonderful. They were kind and helped us in every way. I believe they have been working to do a facelift of the entire. There was a water pipe break and it was not till I turned on the water and mud came of bathroom sink. (for two days out of service for at least 6 hours each day) Shower (dirty water) was the same way. Hotel should have been closed for safety reasons. Only a small sign on door of hotel to see the problem about water, ON first floor on way to elevator, there was a huge water leak on the floor from ice machine ( did have a small yellow sign to identify but still unsafe). On all three floors none of the Soda machines worked. In our room only 1 light next to bed. Phone not working and when we checked it it was not able to be plugged in anywhere. Only one plug on one side of wall. In bath room we had handicap bath with grab bars/ handicap rails to help him get into the shower, all of these bars were not secured safely. Almost completely pulled of wall exposing the screws which were not secure correctly to the studs in the wall. Several broken pieces of furniture, night stand and drawers. The curtains in room were off the curtain rods in half the room. The room especially the bathroom was not clean, Very disappointing stay especially since I usually love Wyndam associated hotels. The hotel was very outdated with small rooms, and very dark, There was only one lock on the door and it was broken and did not latch all the way. A good push and the door was opened without a key. Did not fell safe.

Place was suitable for our purpose. Check in was slow. Ac unit was hard to control temperature. Grounds needed a good cleaning.

Will not stay here again

Very dirty. Hotel obviously needs repairs. Door of the room wasn’t sealed properly so I can hear everything, the air vent was filthy, lights kind of worked, and the shower was broken/hot for only 2 seconds.

The front desk person was very nice and helpful, but the place needs a lot of repairs. Toilet kept running. I had to giggle handle 3 times to get it to stop. They had to move me to another room because at 10:45pm the kid upstairs kept running and jumping. The second room did not have a smoke detector and I noticed many items that needed repaired.

You get what you pay for. I needed a place to rest my head for few hours and ended up not sleeping as I the hotel was very sketchy

The people are nice...cant always find them, but they are very nice whenever they converse with you....THEY ARE A . The hotel is a bit older....they are trying to renovate.... that means new furniture, and new beds. We were given room 122.... which may be okay normally, but not so much during renovation. It is between the fire exit (staircase) and the laundry area. Noise all night from furniture being disposed of....1 night they even set off emergency door opening alarm. Sounded like furniture bouncing down the stairs EVERY NIGHT! Each morning the Housekeepers got to the laundry areas and made more noise (normal function). This left us with a window of sleep of about 4 hours a night! Piss Poor todo that to any customer! I CANNOT RECOMMEND A VISIT UNTIL AFTER THEY GET IT ALL TOGETHER... Expedia and Baymont should both be sure this doesnt happen....since they cant YOU BEST xall the front desk and ask status of this fiasco before you go.

The room was clean and decent for a 1 night stay. The front desk young lady was very nice and accommodating. The hotel is under construction for remodeling and for that reason the outside could have been a little cleaner and upkept. Overall, we needed a place to change clothes and sleep for the night and this hotel served its purpose. I look forward to visiting once the remodeling is complete

This was the worst experience I’ve ever encountered! The smoke detector was beeping the entire time I was there. The man claimed he reset the battery but did not stop the beeping. The toilet did not flush properly. The shower head was coming out of the wall and water pressure was too hard. The floor had evident proof that it hadn’t been vacuumed in months! When I asked for another room I was quickly turned away. They did provide housekeeping, as I was told by the evening staff that I needed to request for it. I had to constantly ask for fresh towels and rags because every time they give me one I was not cleaned and had hair from a previous person. I will not recommend staying in this hotel. And also the breakfast food was not fully cooked! Worst experience ever!

This hotel should not be open right now. It is undergoing renovations and the rooms are almost unable to be properly occupied. The toilet in my room did not always flush, the tub was really dirty and there were several power outlets that did not work. My room literally did not have light once the sun set.

Even though the property was under renovation the staff went over and beyond. I was never incovienced or bothered by the renovation. It looks amazing. Kuddos to the staff

the room was smelling musty and molded,, the furniture was worn out and looking broke down, their was no hot water, the toilet seat was broken u slide of of it when you sit on it, they didn't have enough towels, i went to walmart to buy my own for me and family, the breakfast was not good, i wanted to check out the next day to go to another hotel but i was told i wouldnt get my money back Jessica the front desk person tried her best to make the situation better by upgrading my room so we switched room the next day the only difference was that room had hot water but again furniture was worn out and rrom smelled wet and musty, I would not stay here again sleeping in my truck would have been better, checked out hours earlier that expectd

AC didn’t work (in June), bed was like concrete, constant smell of weed throughout the whole place, and cracked out people hanging around in the floors and downstairs.

Only thing kind of have me for a loop. My room had no towels.. nor face rags. Luckily I had some with me. But whoever cleans should be attentive to the fact that you should replenish these things and double check your work.

This property the pool wasn’t working the internet doesn’t work and the staff is very rude !

This property is nasty and we promptly left once we viewed the room. I would rather sleep in my car than stay in their establishment. The customer service is the best thing about this place.

There was a sense of insecurity with the type of clientele The Baymont catered to. Suspect individuals hanging around out side throughout the night, with constant noise. Law enforcement being called to handle disturbances. This was not my best experience and will not be staying at this Hotel again!
