Faraway Cottages, Auli

Everything about this place was a dream. We stayed here three nights after hiking the Panch Kedar. The staff are incredible, food is amazing and the rooms are so luxurious.

It’s really hard to find anything wrong… maybe that the location is a little remote, but the views are incredible and totally worth it!

We had a wonderful stay! The views were breathtaking, and the rooms were of top-notch quality, featuring tasteful and elegant decor. Having a private balcony was a fantastic bonus. The food was exceptional, and the kitchen staff went above and beyond to customise dishes to our exact preferences. A special mention goes to Bipin and Vijay, who were simply superb—they made us feel completely at home and extremely pampered throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

The rooms, view and location

Excellent View and location of rooms.

1. Difficult to navigate to the property. Google map doesn't help. No prior communication from owner to help things. Inadequate power backup for water, room heater, just 2 to 3 lights power the entire suite. There was seepage in room and bathroom causing paint dust on table and floor . No arrangement to keep excessive pests , insects away . Abrupt water supply. Half of items in menu are not available and limited breakfast options. Untrained staff. Overall very average services and facilities provided for the money charged.
