Everything! Fantastic situation overlooking Charente valley, taking delicious meals on terrace or gorgeous dining room,friendly English speaking staff,unusual interesting art work & displays, & great breakfasts consisting of all local produce!

Beautiful views, pleasant staff, a relaxing 2 hours in the pool. The bed was comfortable. The dinner was excellent.
The room has eaves which was not mentioned and my husband banged his head, the air con is not sufficient in the room, the pool has no handrail which can make it very difficult to get in/out as the top step is very steep, there must be some kind of campsite below as the music went on till after 2 in the morning. We also chose that hotel for some peace and quiet however there were too many loud children. The hotel itself has some charm but is tired.
