Absolutely loved this place. It was the perfect size for our family of seven. Each of the four bedrooms had its own bathroom and that was great for 7 adults. All the bedrooms on the second floor was a bonus, it meant no one’s sleep was interrupted but night owls or early birds. I was also impressed with the guest host’s quick responses to any questions I had. I will certainly put this on a favorite list for future stays in Travelers Rest.

Property is big and spacious. All 4 bedrooms have their own private bathroom which makes it perfect for a large group of friends traveling together. However, the furnishings which are included are sparse…with furnishings are missing completely. The upstairs lounge/den area is totally useless as there is no sofa (or any seating whatsoever to watch the television. The sofas downstairs are arranged in the most bizarre arrangement that I’ve ever seen. We had to rearrange the sofas just to be able to have a conversation with each other. Some bedrooms are missing bedside lamps. All bedrooms are missing a dresser/chest of drawers to store clothing. There is absolutely no wall decorations in the entire house which makes it feel like you’re squatting in a semi-abandoned home. A few wall hanging, table decorations and throw rugs would go a long way solving this issue. Additionally, the neighborhood/neighbors seemed to be somewhat sketchy. We made sure to put our cars in the garage at night. We didn’t feel comfortable leaving luggage racks/etc out in the open. We felt that it may be too much of a temptation in that area. I would rent this home again only due to the convenience of 4 en-suite bedrooms. However, I will know that it’s far less than homey and inviting.

Overall, we had an amazing stay! Everything was very clean and there was plenty of space for our friends to stay. Also LOVE the fact that each bedroom has an attached bathroom. That was a huge plus!

Our daughter's wedding venue was in TR at Riverain. So glad we found this rental! Property was very clean, spacious & comfortable as well as warm & welcoming. Communication with the owner was timely & informative. The owner was very easy to deal with & went above & beyond my expectations for answering questions that I had. She also provided a kitchen counter filled with menus & pamphlets on local attractions which really helped us get to know the area. The kitchen was well equipped & all appliances are new, to include washer & dryer. The set-up of this home is perfect for groups or for 2 families. Each of the 4 bedrooms has its own full bath with shower & separate commode. While we used this house as a home base for us & several other adult couples, this is also the perfect home for a wedding party to prep for the big event. Our daughter wished she & her bridesmaid's had similar space & lighting at the home they had rented closer to Furman. You won't go wrong renting this home! I've had a few questionable experiences with VRBO rentals but this place honestly restored my faith - this house is as advertised...a comfy, clean executive home.
