Lun og hyggelig atmosfære, bra Spa avdeling! God mat med skikkelig kaffe og Amerikanske pannekaker som var perfekt!

Mye støv på rommet, utsikt i bakgata, mye rot på spa-avdeling, mindre rom enn annonsert, men det er jo booking.no sin feil.

Die Lage war super - das Frühstücksbüffet war reichhaltig und sehr schmackhaft . Es gab beim Hotel eigene gebührenfreie Parkplätze - jedoch nur in beschränkter Anzahl. Die Lobby und weitere Räume sind sehr stillvoll eingerichtet und laden zum verweilen ein. Schöne Fotos und Bilder aus vergangenen Tagen an den Wänden. Das Personal sehr höflich und hilfsbereit.

Die Toilette und Dusche war etwas klein. generell war die Zimmergösse klein. Es gab/gibt zwar ein Sofa und einen Salontisch aber für einen längeren Aufenthalt oder wenn man geschäftlich mit einem PC arbeiten müsste wäre das Zimmer eher suboptimal.

Comfortable room - a bit old but clean. The staff is super :-)

When staying at a hotel like this where breakfast is part of the stay I assume that the breakfast situation is better then it is as this hotel. The variety of food is little and one get the feeling that the hotel don’t like the guests having long and nice breakfast. Secondly requiring guest to order ONE item of warm food by someone walking around in a dual role of both taking orders in an unstructured manner and cleaning tables at the same time is not a good deal. Restricting warm food to one dish is also something that I have not seen I in other similar hotels. Trying to order at the counter was refused in a rude manner - and the 2 people there had very god time discussing instead of giving good service.

Roros itself is a nice little town to spend 2 days. If you've seen the mine and the main street there is not much to see in the city itself. The hotel is located in the center, which is good for short walks to the mine and the main street starts right there.

The hotel looks like the pictures on the website in the entrance area and the breakfast room, but as soon as you go up to the floors to your room, the style suddenly changes. It is a bit outdated. The service staff is very friendly, but I expect in a city that also attracts international guests, especially in winter, that English is also spoken in the breakfast room. When you order scrambled eggs and get fried eggs, not even the basics work. The noise in the rooms is very loud. You can hear the neighbours very well and especially the pub on Saturday if you have a room directly above. It was so loud that it was impossible to sleep. The reaction of the hotel was also rather bad. I complained during the night and was offered a smaller room. I had to report my complaint several times afterwards to get some kind of compensation, which was paid very reluctantly. All in all, next time I would choose my hotel the way I originally thought. The Bergstadens was rather second choice because of friends who wanted to go there.

The on-site charging stations were not available due to renovation of the hotel.
