Loews Arlington Hotel

Stayed at this hotel for a week for a work conference, this was an extra night I paid for myself - the property is absolutely amazing, super impressive, the rooms are lovely, the beds and bedding are amazing, as is the pool - the hotel is immaculate...

Ok, there is a cafe in the lobby, which is the most insanely overpriced cafe I have ever experienced. This cafe makes Disneyland or Times Square look cheap, $20 for a dried out egg and turkey processed sausage muffin thats been sat for 6 hours with the ink from the wrapper stuck to it due to it being sat so long (I had several of them, it was the same every day)... I had one every day as there is NO BREAKFAST BUFFET during the week, only on weekends, just an INSANELY expensive menu to order from, $20 for a fruit salad, $8 for orange juice which is not even freshly squeezed, a normal breakfast would cost close to $100 with tip per person - I travel all over the world and live in Central London, I have never, ever, ever seen anything like the food prices in this hotel in return for what you get - I do not know how they justify it, the RITZ IS CHEAPER - you can have a Michelin star breakfast in Switzerland or Monaco for what you pay for basic food in this hotel - I just don't get it and I think it is taking advantage of people as there isn't really many other options close by. If you don't eat or drink here, the hotel is fantastic, if you need to eat in this hotel, be prepared to bring a lot of money.

It was beautiful and clean! The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve slept on in a very long time and the staff was very kind. We went for a Texas Rangers game so the location was perfect and we appreciated the valet parking!

I didn’t care for the shower.

Incredibly friendly staff even during a day with six events going on at the same time. Check in was 4 but I arrived at 2 and they were able to get me into a room right away. Loved the large windows and the great view (as pictured) from the 15th floor. Will definitely be returning in the future!

The staff at the front desk was extremely helpful for checking in.

I did ask for a microwave to warm some food and there were none available. The front staff asked if I could warm my food(I purchased from Farena the night before) at Farena or the cafe. The cafe and Farena are not able to do that for sanitary reasons and protocols. So I had no way to warm my food. Which was frustrating. The day I was leaving the hotel the valet text was not accepting call downs at that moment. I got down to valet and had to wait 45 minutes for my vehicle and was credited for the wait.
