Great atmosphere, clean room and toilets. Great services. Can improve breakfast a bit better, but during thia COVID-19 situation cant do any better.
We are happy.

I booked from Hotels.com, but when I arrived there, the host said the booking was not confirmed. The staff was so friendly and quickly got a room ready for me. But this was very worrying when arrived at a new place facing the risk of no accommodation! Regardless of unproficiency of Hotels.com, staying with Arms was pleasant. The room was cosy though quite small. The breakfast was utterly good. It was very close to Wales National Park. So highly recommend it.

A lovely place with fantastic staff, a comfy room and really nice food! Our room was a nicely-sized double room, clean and comfortable. We had a little fridge which was a nice touch, and everything else we needed. Ran late checking out, but there were no issues, so we were very grateful for that. The only negative was that the shower head carried on running after we'd switched it off - not a huge deal, but a bit of a waste of water. Otherwise, a fantastic stay, and we would definitely stay again.

Not the Ritz but spotlessly clean and exactly as the pictures on the website showed.
Everything that should have been there was as promised.
But the jewel in the crown is definitely the staff. Very friendly and helpful!
Add to that a lovely breakfast so you can’t say fairer than that.

Very helpful, I knew I was going to be late checking in so contacted them before hand and therefore there wasn’t a problem.
And I had to be off before breakfast was served so they made me a takeaway breakfast.

We were very happy with our overnight stay. We were able to check in early , staff very friendly and helpful , food excellent you certainly won’t be hungry.. good value for money.

Very friendly welcome, food was beautiful and very accommodating with allergies. The room was spacious and clean nice touch to have a mini fridge in the room.

Fabulous place, good room, food in restaurant was excellent. Staff and locals made me feel welcome, particularly Lucy who is a diamond! Will stay again.

We had a lovely time here, could've done with somewhere to hang towels and shampoo and body wash available.
As we have two vegetarians in our family, it would've been good to have a vegetarian option for breakfast.

The staff were all very friendly and hard working. The room was very clean and the food was excellent. If I had to be picky, it was just that I had to ask for clean towels but there was no problem in getting them.

Good value for money. The 'no reception for checking in after 9pm' was worrying when I didn't receive an answer to my email and no one responded to my initial phone and answerphone message when I was wanting instructions for a late arrival.

Slightly unusual. Nice clean room above restaurant/pub. Inexpensive. Nice staff. Ideal for my needs (came to do the Bmw off road motorcycle training which is 5 mins down the road)

The rook was absolutely perfect not one fault, we paid extra for continental breakfast which I read on the website is brought you your room. This didn’t happen, this was a last minute stay due to a family emergency. We had to rush off in the morning, we waited until 11 o clock when check out was and still no breakfast..

Very welcoming, friendly, helpful staff and comfortable room. Nice and quiet and perfect for our stay in Pontardawe. Good hearty breakfast in the morning. Would highly recommend staying here.

Booked at last minute. Very pleased with the room, lovely and clean,comfortable bed and although on a road and over a pub and restaurant there was no noise. Eat in the restaurant in the evening and had a very nice meal. Staff very helpful and will book again when visiting family nearby
