A beautiful property nestled among hills and vineyards of the Chehalem Mountains. It has the best stocked kitchen I've ever had in a rental. The patio is lovely for meals, relaxing around a fire, and enjoying the sunset Bird watching was outstanding. Two small hawks live in the tree right outside the house and there is a bald eagle that hung out across the street. The hot tub takes about 4 hours to heat up to 100 degrees, so plan accordingly. Conveniently located near some of the best wineries in the area- there is even one next door, but you have to book in advance to taste at the property (Flanuer Winery). We visited their tasting room in nearby Carlton, which is one of the coolest tasting rooms I've ever visited- it's in a refurbished grain elevator.

A little too much clutter inside taking up precious space for putting our things where we could get to them. Island in kitchen was not in a good spot and hand too much stuff on it to be useful. Master bedroom had no place to store clothes. Bathroom had no place for toiletry bags etc. Otherwise, a beautiful home in a fantastic location we thoroughly enjoyed it. Host was very responsive to questions.
