Adorable beach cabin within a few steps to a secluded beach!
Genießt diese niedliche Hütte im maritimen Stil mit herrlichem Blick aufs Wasser – und nur ein paar Stufen von der Hintertür entfernt liegt der Strand. Auf diesem Grundstück könnt ihr im Süßwasserteich schwimmen, auf Waldwegen wandern, direkt vom Strand aus ein Kajak-Abenteuer starten, am Lagerfeuer am Strand S'mores rösten, auf dem großen Rasensportplatz Spiele spielen und vieles mehr – alles auf diesem 33 Acre großen, herrlichen Anwesen! Auf dem Grundstück gibt es noch eine weitere Hütte von etwa derselben Größe. Wenn ihr eine größere Gruppe seid und beide buchen möchtet, schreibt mir bitte eine Nachricht für weitere Details.
Um zu diesem Grundstück zu gelangen, müsst ihr eine Fähre von Anacortes nach Lopez Island nehmen. Reservierungen können bis zu 2 Monate im Voraus vorgenommen werden. Ohne Reservierung kann die Wartezeit mehrere Stunden betragen. Die Fahrt vom Fährterminal zu eurer Ferienunterkunft dauert 12 Minuten. Unten findet ihr den Link, um Fähren zu buchen.

This is a great cottage on a bluff looking over a spectacular San Juan islands view. It is a short walk to a beautiful private beach. There is a small rock island just off shore that attracts seagulls, seals, and eagles. The cottage is clean and well provisioned. The location is ideal for being secluded yet still just 15 minutes from Lopez Island village. I highly recommend the cottage by saying we would definitely stay again!Heads up cell service is very poor on Lopez Island except apparently for T-Mobile. I suggest downloading directions or a map of the island so when you drive off the ferry you have directions.

This was a very nice property with easy access to the beach, a PRIVATE beach so you pretty much have it all to ourselves. We loved skipping rocks while watching the various clams squirt seawater above the rocks. The firepit was sheltered from the wind and cozy. The cabin itself is the cleanest "cabin" i have ever stayed in. Small as you would expect and very nice. The owners were very thoughful and left a little gift. They were very easy to reach and very kind. They are what you would want over an impersonal vacation rental management company and was that cherry on top. I would definitely stay here again, you probably shouldn't though because now there won't be openings. So ignore everything i said!

We enjoyed our stay in this unique cabin on the edge of a property on a bluff with easy access to a private beach. Quiet and everything you need to have a sweet getaway.

Pros- beautiful ocean view and clean.
Cons- smaller than advertised. Listed as 900ft2. Living space closer to 700ft2, footprint of house closer to 800ft2.
The bedrooms are tiny, the bathroom closet sized. The laundry facilities are actually in the campground across the property, requiring a drive in the car. We are a family of 6 and it was waaay too small.
The cottage is on a large property with multiple rentals and a camp ground. It seems to be a large church camp with rentals when camp is not occurring.
The cottage is situated in the front yard of an enormous house. There are 2 outdoor bathrooms located steps from the back door. Each day, campers rode bikes to our front yard and passed the house just outside the windows. It did not feel private.
Also- my parents had rented another small house on the property which was nearly twice as big, had laundry on site, yet cost the same amount as ours.
Overall, beautiful location. But for the price, and with the misrepresented size and lack of privacy, we wouldn’t return.
