Exceptional decor and location, squarely between Palazzo Te and Palazzo Ducale. It felt like a true testament to what life in Mantova would be like for a local family. It was very quiet at night and the beds were comfortable. Andrea was so kind and helped us sort out our taxi situation. We were blocks away from some of our favorite meals this trip.
Not at all the fault of the property, but the heatwave was oppressive and the minisplits didn’t quite reach some of the bedrooms but by the middle of the night it was comfortable. During a normal summer, it wouldn’t have been an issue, this was just a rare occurrence (one hopes).

Be aware that living room space is limited, with only two chairs (as shown in pictures). We chatted around the kitchen table or on the couches in the main bedrooms.
