It is located very close to some of the main attractions in the ancient city. The area is quiet. There’s a nice outdoor seating area where you can appreciate the breeze. The room was clean and comfortable and the host family, kind and helpful.
If you don’t have transport, you will need a tuk tuk to go out for dinner in the evening.

Breakfast was extra. While not cheap by Sri Lankan standards it was delicious home made food and plentiful. Bathroom was very roomy. A/C worked well and we had a nice hot shower. Bed was comfortable. Very helpful in arranging tuk tuk tour of area for reasonable price.
Lack of instructions regarding wifi password and where to go for breakfast on the property. As it appears to be a private home it was somewhat awkward to just walk into the house through an unmarked door to get to the breakfast room. Was easily sorted by "hallooing" outside until someone came outside, nevertheless better communitcation would be appreciated.

The location is close to all of the ancient city sites, you can walk or rent one of their bicycles. The room was compact but very practical. Friendly hosts and accommodating.

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön im Grünen gelegen. Auch die Ausstattung war gut und das Bett bequem. Die Gastgeber waren sehr sehr lieb und haben sich perfekt um uns gekümmert. Das Frühstück war auch ganz toll und typisch Sri Lankan.
Da gab es nichts, wir hatten einen wirklich tollen Aufenthalt.
