Wow! Right on the lake, walk out the door to sand. So close to everything. Couldn’t have been any better. Would definitely stay again.

We had an amazing stay, great location, everything in town was pretty much walkable. Woke up to a beautiful sunrise over Lake Superior. Loved it!

This is a lovely little rental with amazing views of the bay. If you rise early the sunrise is right out the window. It is an older building and the people above can be heard but we didn't find it took away from our conversation experience.

This is a very homey room. It was nice to sit on the lakeshore in the Adirondack chairs and have a glass of wine while watching the waves and gulls. Easy walk to several restaurants and Artist's Point. Great view!

Wonderful location, only downside was NO air conditioning, NO kleenex, paper towels, shampoo, etc. Otherwise the stay was awesome, will definitely stay again.

The place was small, cozy, and the thin walls of the old log structure are just fine if you have ear plugs or use a sound machine. Also, bring toiletries of your own since they only have standard soap. It's worth the location right on the Artists point peninsula and coast guard/lighthouse public park on one side with easy walking to shopping and food on the other.

This beach cottage and location were absolutely perfect for our 1st visit to the "North Shore". Just steps from shops, restaurants, the harbor and Artist's Point. For a couple looking for an authentic "up-north" getaway on Lake Superior, this is the perfect place. We'll be back and we've already recommended it to our kids. WiFi was good, no TV ... but the view of the big Lake more than makes up for that. Thank You for sharing your cute, cute, cute property! (There is a property upstairs, and you can hear people walking around, but we barely noticed them)

This is a perfect location for a personal retreat. Quiet, right by the lake, close to shopping and restaurants. Felt very safe.

If this is your first time in Grand Marais, and you’re excited about the town/waterfront, BOOK THIS!! Totally as walkable and quaint as it seems. Enjoy your Worlds Best donuts in the morning on your own section of beach!! Easy to cool down too with provided fans if it happens to be hot, which is very rare. The little unit has great space for a couple. Mr Coffee coffee maker with grounds and mugs. Wine glasses. Microwave. Just enough extras to enjoy yourself if you want to stay in!

It has ample accommodations along with a woodsy lake charm. This property is literally right on the beach; we enjoyed a beach side fire both nights, and watched the sunrise on the beach with our coffee each morning. There is so much to do and see in Grand Marais and just up north to Grand Portage. We are already looking forward to coming back next year!

This was a cute cabiny, old timey feel room right on the east bay. It was quite rainy our 2nd day/night, I would trim back the raspberry bushes and clean the windows for a nicer lake view. We were on the main floor and could hear the upstairs neighbors easily. But loved being right in town and walking everywhere!

We had a little hiccup in the reservation but the owner made it right. The place was just perfect for a couple of old friends on an adventure. So close to everything and yet quiet and serene. We will be back! 😀

This was the perfect place to stay in grand marais for the weekend. I’ve been to town a few times and this is by far the best location I’ve stayed and definitely the best view. 10/10 would recommend!

Super cute little 1 room studio. Right on the beach at Artist Point. Easy walking distance to everything in town. Would definitely stay here again next time I'm in GM!

Perfect location right on Superior and walking distance to everything you need in Grand Marais. Old and rustic lodging perfect for two people. The only downside is that you hear the upstairs unit occupants conversation clear as day and the bed is right below the upstairs main living room, so you hear every step made from upstairs.

Great location! The property was clean and well stocked , chairs on shore were a definite plus ! We will be back !

The location is absolutely ideal - on the edge of town, right on the Lake, and a 2 min walk to Artists' Point. Nature and commerce are close at hand, a real treasure. The rustic simplicity of early 20th cent log interior was charming. Nice shower. Direct view of the Lake. It would have been nice to know in advance that there were no plates or bowls or dish soap. Very quiet, except for the creaking floors from the upstairs guests, not bad. Very clean and comfortable, but it would have been nice if the windows had been cleaned, especially the seagull poop. I would happily stay here again.

The room was in a great location in Grand Marias with Lake Superior right behind it. The chairs outside was a wonderful touch to sit and view the beauty of the lake. It was walking distance to everything downtown which was a plus. It had a small fridge and microwave. Cofee was provided as well as creamer. We did have to go buy toilet paper as there was only a half roll when we arrived. There is no tv which honestly wasn't a deal breaker for us as we were only there to sleep. The place was clean and i would recommend to anyone wanting a place to sleep as you explore Minnesota's great adventures.
