Portie Deluxe Suites by DA'HOME

We stayed in Unit 21 that had a huge balcony with a table/4 chairs/1 umbrella and two chais with ottomans. It was located right at the last tram stop for the Porto beach. It was on the road but the Douro River was on the other side. The entrance to the Atlantic Ocean and the lighthouse were less than a half a mile. We could see the sun setting and watch approximately 40 boats heading west to view the sunsets. Room and bathroom were huge—so different from most European rooms. Excellent furnishings and bed was very good. Several local restaurants and grocery stores were close by. That end of Porto has a slower pace than downtown.

No hotel staff at location except 1 housekeeping person. Everything was done by messaging. Safe would not open.

Easy contactless check in, hot nice shower, big towels, comfy robes and slippers. Very clean and a coffee machine :)

Location was great if you want to explore downtown Porto. You have the tram at the door and beach close by.

The expectation of the property being facing the river was completely the opposite. Our room was on the back end with a different building entrance. Had no view and the room felt small and had a bad smell from sewage. We were under the impression it was an hotel, but there was no reception or any facilities. No one met us upon check in is just like an Airbnb.
