Perfect location for us. VERY easy bus access, for anyone looking, and super close to the sky train from there. Host was lovely. Suite was very spacious and the property is beautiful.

When we arrived we were shocked with how big the place is, so much space. The place has everything we need. We are helping our friends with a wedding in Port Coquitlam so the house is a great base for that and visiting downtown Vancouver as well. When we visit our friends again we will look at staying here again.

Spacious suite with just the essentials as part of a lovely home in a quiet neighbourhood. Kitchen not really equipped to cook so plan for take out. Located in a deeply residential area- there is little within walking distance (like a coffee shop or a restaurant). You really need a car if you want to pick up morning coffee or locate a grocery store- parking is easy- right in front of the house. Note that there isn't a door into the bedroom. Only an issue as I was up earlier than my partner to work in a different time zone and I would have closed the door if there was one.

A well located home close to where we needed to be. Easy to access off a major highway but also very quiet neighborhood with lots of parking and sidewalks to enjoy a walk thru the area. House is newly renovated, clean, bright and a large space. The owners were professional and easy to talk with.

Upon arriving Evan and his wife were quick to provide a key and to show us in. Communication was excellent and very responsive. The property is very clean and has most of the things you would expect. The yard is lovely with rose gardens, and neatly kept shrubs and lawn - park-like.
Like any listing, be sure to read the list of ammenities ahead of time. The location is good with short drives to SFU, Metrotown, Lougheed Mall, Brentwood. There are not a lot of shops close by, but a 5 minute drive gets you to plenty of things and food delivery services can bring what you want to you.
We'll definitely consider this listing again when we need to stay in the area.

My wife and I stayed in this self-contained annex homestay for four nights.
The annex adjoins to the main property, and there are a couple of interior doors that connect the two, but these remained locked and we had no concerns about our privacy being respected.
Evan and his wife were friendly and accommodating, without being intrusive.
The property is based in North Burnaby, with good transport links into Downtown Vancouver via the skytrain, with the nearest station ~15min walk away.
We couldn't find a shop nearby, but we ordered DoorDash/SkipTheDishes one night without issue. However, the location would suit having access to your own vehicle.
We can wholeheartedly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay, near to Downtown, with decent transport links, that will be respectful to Evan and his lovely family.
