This was our second time staying at this property for our anniversary, and it remains one of our favorite places to stay in Buena Vista. This time felt especially meaningful because we had originally planned to return last year, but our plans changed after I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Being able to finally make this trip happen together this year felt incredibly special and was a wonderful way to celebrate this chapter of healing. One of the things we love most about this property is how private and cozy it feels. It truly feels like a mountain retreat while still being close enough to walk into town for coffee, dinner, or just some extra exercise while enjoying the beautiful scenery. The cornhole set is such a fun touch. We loved playing at dusk while taking in the peaceful surroundings. Although the kitchen is well-equipped, we've honestly never used it because the restaurants in town are just too good! There are so many great options within walking distance. Some highlights from this trip included catching a movie at the drive-in, spending a relaxing day at Twin Lakes, and golfing nearby. This home continues to be the perfect basecamp for everything we love about Buena Vista.
We're so grateful to have finally made it back and are already looking forward to our next stay.

We loved our stay in this beautifully remodeled, super clean, and comfortable home! Our kiddos loved the bunk room and we found all the beds to be very comfortable. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen and loved having nightly fires in the fire pit (really appreciated the firewood!). The location is truly perfect! It is close (walkable) to main street, yet very quiet and peaceful, with beautiful backyard views. Just a heads up that in July the mosquitos were very aggressive outside, but that’s just Colorado I suppose! We would love to return and highly recommend this home!

We absolutely loved this clean and bright home and its amazing views. From the moment we arrived, we felt it was a unique haven. Hosts Ben and Syliva put considerable thought into renovating this place, with no detail overlooked. We were in town for a wedding and stayed with our three grown sons. The whole place shows even better than the pictures, especially the beautifully landscaped back garden with sun-filled views of open golden fields being irrigated against an incredible mountain backdrop. The kitchen is well-supplied, and the bathrooms are gorgeous. We had one little hiccup with the internet, but Ben was on it and communicated instantly with us to get it fixed. We will be back most definitely. Overall, it is a beautiful, peaceful retreat close to downtown BV.
